Being an idiot doesn't affect there being good music if you enjoy it. It just means it's good music written by someone currently being an idiot.

Considering that many of their fans will be women in their 30s & 40s who loved them in their prime and know what a woman is, this is silly.

I saw them in concert, must have been 20 years ago now. They were a headliner then - who are they now, and why so annoyed with feminists? Also they're a band, so they speak with one mind?

Not exactly the most relevant combo these days, although I used to like them. In fact, I bet a large section of their fanbase are middle aged/approaching middle age GC women who used to like Shirley's style. Goodbye from us then. I'd say I won't bother listening to my 2 CDs of theirs again, but I haven't since about 2002 anyway.

I have half of the Garbage 2.0 album as part of my Cto5k playlist on my mp3 player. They've already got my money so there's no point burning the CD, but as I am magnificently pissed off by the hijacking of a black man's murder, I won't feel like playing their music for a bit.

Somebody mentioned they have a tour coming up, so that explains a lot.

But looks like Shirley and co have already SOLD OUT.
