This:
Dear Mr Starmer (realise it should be Sir Keir. Never mind)
This person, who is in your Shadow Cabinet, has disgracefully accused the writer J K Rowling of exploiting her sexual assault to validate her transphobia.
Quite apart from the fact that JKR is not a transphobe, and has made it very clear that her motives in speaking out is to protect single sex spaces for women and girls, the idea that any woman’s sexual assault should be minimised in this way is reprehensible and can only come from a position of contempt and disregard for women.
Sexual assault is not only physically traumatising, and can result in very serious injury, but it is also emotionally traumatising, and can make it very difficult to lead a normal life.
It is very brave of JKR to speak out in this way.
What men often do not realise is that women are always aware of the potential threats from predatory men, and live their lives accordingly. Men are in general bigger and stronger, so women are almost always at a disadvantage. We need support from good and decent men, not disparagement from thoughtless ideologists who put their woke credentials above concern for women.
I was pleased that you sacked Rebecca Long Bailey, another thoughtless wokester who couldn’t recognise anti-Semitism when it was staring her in the face. I hope you sack this foolish, misogynistic man as well.
I have high hopes for the Labour Party with you as leader. Please don’t disappoint.
Sincerely
