Off the subject slightly, but I read Robert Webb's autobiography a while back and it was excellent.

Personally, I wouldn’t include Kirsty Allsopp
She’s gone down the “I don’t know enough about this debate” cop out route

No to val she never stood up when lesbians were being coerced. Jumping on popular bandwagon.

Jeez. Disappointed

Nice comment Val Mcdermid.
I think the support for JKR in some way or other will keep trickling.
You don't have to agree on everything.

I don't agree with most of what Julia Hartley Brewer says but she has been forthright in rejecting the 'cis' label. This is worth watching whenever the preachy ones start bullying women:

Possibly a Lucy Worsley (historian) as she has just put this on Facebook. I don't know. It seems very weak but it might be a reference.

Has Andrew Lawrence been put on the list? He is the comedian who did the hilarious joe smugface video

A quick google tells me he has been referred to as a 'right wing' comedian for quite a few years now although he himself claims to not belong to any political ideology or organisation - he just criticised the smugness of the left in comedy in 2014.
Needless to say, the left wing comedians he was criticising have not supported JKR.

Jo said speciffaly she was worried about what the Scottish government had passed in law. About redifinying the meaning of what women are in her piece

So Val. You didn’t speak up and now you misrepresent what JK said

So Val there we go

Val is a GNC lesbian woman, and a clever one at that. She must get it, and is choosing not to.

TBf that seems a perfectly valid stance and one I wish 99% of Twitter would employ before they open their big mouths. No one has to agree. That's big lie #nodebate has fed us. Everyone is entitled to their opinion or lack thereof.

She said she doesn't have enough knowledge to have an opinion but in the same tweet she finished with this hurling vile abuse at JK Rowling is wrong, regardless of anything else

So she supports JKR whatever her personal stance on trans rights.

What is Fern's Twitter handle? I can't find her. I thought Deborah Meadon and Judy Murray might tweet support.. Jennifer Saunders retweet seems to have had a big impact.

Yeah not Val. if she thinks that Guardian “why are middle aged women so hateful & mean unlike the cool young ppl who want equality for all” piece is balanced, I only hope she’s never had to weigh anything on a set of scales

Some of the blue tick men are retweeting David Baddiel. I love Sathnam Sanghera - I think he's a brilliant writer. But he's said nothing whatsoever and now he's retweeted David Baddie[l. Which is better than nothing but Come On. You can do more than retweet a man condemning the abuse of a woman. You can boost women's voices.

My conclusion is that they all agree with JKR. She said nothing untrue. Nothing objectionable. If they disagreed and/or wanted woke cookies they would already have said so. They agree but they are scared so they pal up with another bloke. It's pathetic.

As for Grint and Radcliffe, I hope the woke cookies turn to ashes in their mouths.

Just saw Kate Mosse and Oliver Burkeman (Guardian). I would love to sit in on their Xoom meetings right now.
