I just love her so much. Such an extraordinarily brave woman, I can't even put into words what I'm feeling, but as another victim of domestic abuse and sexual assault I understand that jumpiness she describes. If you're reading, don't let the bastards grind you down, and thank-you for making this easier to talk about.

I've spoken to several people in the past few days who usually have none of this stuff on their radar, who have picked up on this fuss through the papers and asked me what it's all about. Now they will know, and any typical person will understand how 'be kind' is used as a weapon of female suppression.

Fascinating (and tiring) to see how - yet again - so many responses are saying "DON'T READ THIS!". Yet more evidence that the TRA project is one of evading sunlight and air, rather than even attempting reasoned debate.

I'm so glad she has taken control of the situation and calmly presented her view. I hope it will give some of the uninformed pause for thought. I'll be keeping my eye on the TRA response but it's fairly easy to predict.

I've emailed her. I know she won't get to read all the zillions of emails that no doubt get sent to that PR address so I made sure I put a very supportive title so at least her staff can gauge how many stand with her.

It was quite cathartic to write even nobody reads it. I did get a thank you response though so perhaps someone in her office did.

As someone mentioned early on, the usual suspects are either completely denying it, or making up lies.

I think her pr team got the tip off about ER comments, it's too funny they got posted at the same time so he looks a bigger dick.

You know what, something I have (somewhat childishly) relished about this, is that no matter how much abuse has been thrown at her, JK has not been "ratio-ed" on twitter. Likes & retweets are HUGE. She remains popular, no matter what they throw at her.
