I would hope that JKR and Emma Watson would be able to have a proper conversation about this issue. Not on Twitter with grand pronouncements but a real conversation. Might have to be on Zoom though. I’d hope they’d be able to truly listen to one another and not in the slightly coercive way Paris Lees did the ‘would you be scared to have me in the same toilet with you Emma?’ to which Emma could never have answered anything other than ‘of course not ‘ without coming across as a terribly unkind person. Which Emma is not - she’s so, so lovely 😊
