Yes, Datun. People often talk about being 'ratioed' on Twitter: if the comments far outnumber the likes, people strongly disagree! Despite the huge number of TRAs and virtue signallers, JKR's likes still outnumber replies. Because most people can see that she is simply stating fact.

I'm so emotional. I got doxxed two years ago to my employer for sharing the dictionary definition of woman on twitter. My life was made hell, screenshots on Facebook and my child's school Facebook page. Spun into devastating depression, stepped away from everything and just lately getting my life back.

So sorry to hear, that sounds hellish. It’s a very vivid example of how this movement is abuse of women in action. Not progressive or just at all.

I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but she looks like she is being ratio'd when you look at her whole time line (32k replies to 19k retweets) when you click on the tweet itself the 19k retweets turns into 68k.

Is the 19k the retweets with comments?

This is such a privileged standpoint.

She hasn't belittled anyone's identity. I think all she has done is assert that sex based rights are important and that sex based rights can't exist if you can't recognise sex. Throughout history and in many parts of the world today, woman have not been able to escaped sex based restrictions simply by claiming a different identity.

It's ridiculous to pretend that menstruation could happen to anyone, when we know that women's rights are restricted because they menstruate.

As far as I know JK Rowling describes herself as a practising Christian, yet millions of people of other faiths and no faith are able to read her books without feeling attacked.
