Intersex is nothing, nothing to do with trans. Intersex people and organisations have repeatedly asked not to be dragged into the trans argument.

@NeurotrashWarrior yes, in which case I have to go into how gender is made up and we can wear whatever clothes we like and cut or grow our hair but sex is in our DNA and can't be changed and only females have periods.

I bet you now have to include an "extra" lesson in your long term plans in order to deal with that without actually writing it on the plans!

Not that complicated. I don't know which specific syndrome (perhaps you could clarify) you are talking about, but 'intersex' is a term that covers a huge range of disorders of sexual development.
