I've only ever met two trans people (and one was very shouty, late transition, made everything they touched about trans) so how come everything has to change to accommodate so few people? You'd think that trans people had been an oppressed majority for hundreds of years, unable to vote, unable to work outside the home, unable to access loos outside the home...
My sister rolls her eyes at me saying there are so few trans people that it won't impact my life at all accepting them as how they want to be accepted, but has no answer when I showed her the smear test leaflet that doesn't mention the word 'women' until page 10 but 'trans' is on the first page.
