That needs to be added to the Baroness’ reading pile along with the outcomes of that TUC meeting where all of the unions bar one or two went full TWAW. Women (the XX kind) are increasingly being denied effective political representation and employment protections by this creeping implementation of Stonewall law & can’t even turn to their unions for support to uphold their legal rights in the workplace. It is disgusting.

If my union put out a statement like this I would be cancelling membership as they would have demonstrated that the challenges I face at work as a working mum are not a priority. Really no point in membership.

I've only ever met two trans people (and one was very shouty, late transition, made everything they touched about trans) so how come everything has to change to accommodate so few people? You'd think that trans people had been an oppressed majority for hundreds of years, unable to vote, unable to work outside the home, unable to access loos outside the home...

My sister rolls her eyes at me saying there are so few trans people that it won't impact my life at all accepting them as how they want to be accepted, but has no answer when I showed her the smear test leaflet that doesn't mention the word 'women' until page 10 but 'trans' is on the first page.

This made me finally sign up to Mumsnet Premium. It’s clear that there are certain people who won’t be satisfied until women’s voices are totally silenced.

It absolutely baffles me that such a sexist workplace would put trans-inclusivity before the equality of women in the workplace. It disgusts me actually.
