I’m afraid he wasn’t reading them. He was just digging himself in deeper and deeper. It’s very hard to change one’s understanding of things but it’s possible.

I will absolutely change my view when there is clear repeated evidence that some men are born in the wrong body and that those men have different rates of criminality and abuse than men in general and that we know only those men are given access to women’s spaces. I love Billy. I have loved him for over three decades. He has sung my hopes and fears, fought my fights, worried about my concerns, inspired my songs. And seen my sister's pants.
