Prodigal do you really think so? I'm not seeing it in my group of friends. But they all are out and proud readers of the Guardian so I guess they've no real understanding of it all. It's depressing..

No idea @mindtheclegs. I'm finding things to do to keep me busy to support my mental health and just came across this. I'm planning to join and challenge, and hopefully not get put on some 'list' of people who don't put up with this unscientific bollocks.

I'm seeing it in my relatives. Friends are a mixed bag. Twentysomething nephew thinks it's all bollocks, but didn't start saying so until recently. Teenage niece is scared by the changing room and toilet stuff but still attempting to be "kind", her mum a great deal less so.

Twitter used to ban people for saying the kind of stuff that's being said in those comments. A year ago the media wouldn't touch any criticism f what was happening other than a couple of brave souls at the Times and the Spectator. And then suddenly over the last few months the unsayable started to be said. I think Yaniv definitely played a role, and that Jo Swinson helped push things along, and then Labour and their barmy pledge seems to have sort of burst a hole in the dam that was holding criticism back.

My DH keeps saying "just wait for the Olympics", Listening. Biggest stage in the world, if a transwoman wins a women's event the world won't be able to avoid noticing.

I’m assuming the RCOG is being very very naive in how they have expressed it there but their intention must be that they wanted to welcome transmen’s voices? Obs and Gynae people would not be trying to bring biological men to the table, regardless of what ‘gender identity’ those men consider themselves to have..

I have had great fun applying to join the RCOG panel. I opted to join as a representative of an organisation. The organisation of biological females my potential conflict of interest lying in the fact I know what a woman is and that I may require services based on my female reproductive system

A year ago we'd have been happy an organisation was making an effort to distinguish between sex and gender.

No matter how naive they are they are inviting men to join Women's Voices @ChattyLion. It's sad.

I actually wonder whether schools and companies actually have any idea at all what is being tweeted under their names tbh...

I think most corporate Twitter accounts are being run by the youngest, most woke person in the office and the higher ups don't understand social media at all so they mostly just leave them to it.

The irony is that that particular school is a boys' school. I wonder what their policy is on letting girls who identify as boys attend?

Whoever it was who made the point about the social media account being run by interns - excellent point. And it shows how this will be done by stealth, almost inadvertently. Like the MN doxxer who is now a Private Secretary in a government office.
