Dr Adrian Harrop's revenge porn bullying

Even by Harrop's standards this is particularly despicable.

A couple of TRAs engaged in a twitter discussion saying that Caroline Farrow looks like a man (because saying a transwoman looks like a man when they do is a hate crime but saying a woman does when they don't is banter). And this led to a conversation that there are compromising photos of Farrow.

Harrop then joined the discussion, implying that he has seen these photos and will send them to anyone who asks via direct message. This is in breach of revenge porn legislation and the ethics of being a doctor.

Farrow called the police last night over this harassment - but Harrop seems to have got worse and has tweeted that he's tracking her menstrual cycle

I think it definitely has overtones of religious hatred. The stuff directed at Caro seems to be specifically designed to affront conservative religious morality, i.e. implying her husband is secretly cheating on her with men/a cross dresser, suggesting he has salacious pics of her, etc. The abuse the godless heathens get has quite a different character.

I was trying not to make that public as it’s a procedural hearing and I am currently without legal representation. (No need to dig, I am covered).

I am extremely distressed and anxious having been informed that two of the people who have been involved in this cyber-mobbing, both of whom are claiming to have seen intimate photographs of me, have dropped heavy hints about what they will be wearing tomorrow and alluded to items of my clothing.

Apropos of nothing but I think it was Germaine Greer who pointed out that even the most pathetic and ugly of men somehow feels he has the right to openly criticise the way women look.

IME the less attractive they are the more likely they are to criticize. I'm sure everyone can extrapolate from there to many relevant situations and/or people.

Is the obsession so many of our local nutters have with Caroline about religion? Or is the obsession contagious, like a virus? If the police force wasn't hopelessly in thrall to some very questionable "guidelines" they'd be rounding that lot up instead of checking Harry's thinking.

As I understand it, anyone can report hate speech - it doesn't have to be the person the hate is directed to.

As Harry the Owl's case has shown, currently the police have unilaterally decided that no evidence of hate speech is required to have hate speech recorded as a crime non-crime on a crime report. So nevermind about the screenshots.

I went to look at the picture out of curiosity and I have to say I now feel sick. Not at the picture, I hasten to say for the benefit of the (4-bit) monitors. But at the Twitter feed. Good God, what disgusting people. I am sincerely feeling nauseous. Caro, I'm sorry you deal with that.

That surprised me too allmywhat. Twitter has plenty of hate-filled obsessive nutters but that bunch abusing Caro is something else.

What’s astonishing is that the usual suspects believe that their witterings in any way help endear Jo(sephine) Public to their cause that all trans individuals want is to be unreviled (sorry if I’m making up words!), unremarked, and to live in harmony with non-trans people.

Yet more disgusting behaviour from Harrop, Prior and pals. The number of organisations willing to overlook this behaviour purely because it is targetting women (rather than a different oppressed group) continues to astound me.

Is Harrop able to access the medical records and data (address, phone number etc) of all UK patients? Or only those registered at his practice?

He will have access to the SCR (Summary Care Records) which cover nearly everyone except those who opted out. It shows patient address and contact details, prescription details and some other bare bones of information.

All computer access can be tracked. However unless a complaint was made or there was some other reason I doubt his activities would be reviewed.

I reported him to the information commissioner previously due to something he revealed on Twitter but they said unless I was the victim they weren't interested.

If Caro believes he may have accessed her details she should make a complaint. Perhaps if she made a complaint it would trigger an investigation which would reveal other activity than any relating to herself, who knows. I think his little gang of friends are sufficiently computer savvy to have acquired information they may have wanted by other means. However I wouldn't trust him for one minute if he wanted to obtain information.
