That's it really! I just realised it's almost exactly a year since my teen told me he was trans. He seems to have changed his mind now, but who knows how things would have turned out without the advice and support I got here.

Came for help, stayed for the amazing knowledge and the laughs! Hope you all have some fun tomorrow, maybe I'll get to meet some of you in London on Feb 1st!

Happy to hear your boy is, for now, safely in his own body. Happy Christmas to all and thanks for all the insights, laughs and camaraderie. In the Queen’s words, it’s been a bumpy year (wonder if she was referring to the ups and downs of protecting women’s rights in 2019 ) and sometimes I wish I didn’t know what I know. But it’s been a great relief and solace to find some fellow sceptics on here. Cheers to all.

Happy Birthday Beyond ! And Lang, you're right to be fuming, but it's not impotently, waves are being made.

2019 was weird, let's be honest. We were re-spelled, re-defined and re-named, whether we liked it or not. We stood up, stepped up and spoke up and some of us suffered for it. We contributed to crowdfunders, developed our own networks and websites, and defended increasing attempts to shut us up. We start 2020 with one of the world's most influential authors politely and compassionately agreeing with us, as others expose themselves as vicious, insulting and potentially violent. We remind ourselves we stand for the rights of women and children and the rights for all to say that sex exists and it matters.

Merry Christmas everyone and here's to a whole, healthy and happy 2020.
