I know there's lot of mention of this on other threads but I just want to say Anna, if you're here (I feel like you must be), bravo! Your questions were great and you spoke so smoothly. No hesitation or umms and arrs.

My heart was beating out of my chest just asking some gentle questions at some transgender training at work recently so I guess I'm not difficult to impress but still. Good job

Nobody ever challenges anyone's use of a toilet unless they are a woman with short hair.

Women should not feel threatened by men in women's toilets because sometimes there are signs saying that men clean the toilets, but JS doesn't seem to know why the signs are there.

JS is asked to wear a low cut top because that is just the kind think a female MP has to expect, but she can't explain what female means.

1 in 4 trans people attempt suicide, but nobody can explain what trans means either.

You could see Swinson's whole demeanour deflate as she waited for the question to be finished. She then made absolutely no sense. She actually seemed quite jaded with answering it. If only she would just say that she can't make any sense with her stance simply because there is no sense to be made.

Wow! Anna is so impressive - confident, articulate and reasoned. No politician can stand up to that.

I caught my LD MP on my way out as she was canvassing. I asked her about the interviews JS has done on self ID etc. She knew nothing about it. She insisted that the rights of Trans people are very important and must be respected. I said that JS is not talking about people who have transitioned, but men in a male body deciding they are female without surgery hormones etc, and entering female spaces. She said that the Lib Dems do respect women's rights to safe spaces but that trans people must be respected also. I got the impression she has no idea what LD policy is on this really, just a lot of stuff about how important it is to respect Trans people. Why are the people out canvassing not watching their leader in interviews?
