Good on those women who stood up against being forced to share showers and changing rooms with a male bodied person.

The photos in that article are hilarious. The article's in the Aussie equivalent of Pink News (though not quite as mad, in fairness) so I assume the picture editor wasn't intentionally subverting Hannah's message, but the photos perfectly illustrate the difference between Hannah's body and those of her teammates.

Fair enough reason. Would have much preferred 'because Hannah is male and clearly has an advantage over women' but, can't win them all I guess.

Hannah, and the other gender diverse people are welcome to build a space for themselves in the world.

However, they are NOT welcome to colonise and co-opt and take over women’s hard-fought-for spaces in the world.

Erm, is Mouncey the one who has the build of a refrigerator? Can't be arsed to look it up. But if that is Mouncey, it would go against every principle of fair play in sports to have them competing against women, who, at most are built like dorm room mini-fridges.

Elderly don't compete with college students. A street game of rugby isn't going to compete against the All Blacks. In sport, it's fundamental that all players in a group have some kind of chance to win.

Otherwise it's just war. Which is different.

Privacy and dignity are only some of the things at stake.

I think the coach used the shower thing knowing there would be a tantrum and Hannah was most likely to say 'all or nothing!!!'. Maybe the safety issue would have came up if asking a male to shower seperately from females, did not induce such rage and it had been accepted as a perfectly reasonable request, which it is.

I saw a lovely video of Mouncey wearing a dress, being interviewed about Mouncey's transition. The interviewer asked - so now are you into guys or girls. "Aoww, chicks, absolutely the chicks" replied Mouncey, like any woman would.

Good for those women for standing their ground.

Anyone who thinks male people have the right to force women to shower with them and risk their lives playing contact sports with them is nothing short of a BIGOT.

I also remember Hannah tweeting praise for Iran for being inclusive and progressive with regard to transgenderism compared to Australia. Three cheers for Iran! (Gay men being persecuted for being gay not withstanding, eh Hannah)

No, the "folded like a deck chair" was the transwoman who plays rugby for Porth (player in question also broke male coach's arm in training).

But Mouncey has broken an opponent's leg while playing Aussie rules football.

But all perfectly fair, safe, level playing field for all, inclusive, rainbows, twinkles and glitter all round, nothing to see here...

I've just found the video where Mouncey talks about Mouncey's orientation, from 2017. I got the wording slightly wrong :) And Mouncey goes on to say that people don't understand that orientation is different from identity, so of course Mouncey still fancies girls.

Those images give me such cognitive dissonance. Mouncey looks like some of the surfer dudes I grew up with on the Central Coast (NSW). They did mushrooms rather than dresses though

Those images make me picture my own bones snapping like dry spaghetti if the lovely Hannah were to slam into me during a game. Hannah may fancy women, but obviously doesn't like us very much to be willing to do that to us.

This is just so bizarre. I have shown pictures of Hannah to colleagues, and they are just discombobulated - they thought I was joking and just couldn't get that IS actually happening.

Mouncey is welcome to wear dress/make-up, but remains a straight guy with a fetish (and a bad case of male entitlement)
