In recent leaked chat logs with a person called MandaPanda who Yaniv thought to be 15 when the chats began (it's unconfirmed whether this is really a now 16 year old girl or a catfish) he admitted several times that he does indeed have a penis and testicles, no vulva or vagina. Although he's still insisting on his batshittery claim that he also has ovaries and a uterus too (despite the presence of fully working testicles as he's alluded to ejaculating in other inappropriate messages elsewhere).

He has also been attending appointments for surgical assessments for srs in the last few months. Further confirmation of him having a wang.

He is in court on the 5th of this month to answer charges relating to the taser incident.

And usually I respect preferred pronouns but in the case of this thing, nope no way.

Creepster · 04/12/2019 00:47

Pronouns cannot function as correction fluid for those who are dissatisfied with reality.

Gingerkittykat · 04/12/2019 02:04

It's hard to tell whether Yaniv is massively deluded or just a troll.

I mean all he gets is abuse and mocking on twitter yet carries on.

Even he would surely realise suing a gynaecologist would be an impossible task since they have insurance for good lawyers.

Maybe it is just a pathological need for attention, and us posting threads about him will just feed into that.

IWantADifferentName · 04/12/2019 03:21

When I first heard of Yaniv and the BCHRC tribunal, I was worried. Now, I think Yaniv is fantastic - singlehandedly peak transing thousands with every tweet!

I think Yaniv must secretly be gender critical. Yaniv has done more than anyone else to raise concerns about the prospect of Self ID! Surely, that must be on purpose? Nobody could lack self awareness to that degree, could they? Or could they?

Creepster · 04/12/2019 04:03

I hope you never have enough experience with a person like Yaniv to find out.

Siameasy · 04/12/2019 07:46

Yaniv s in the Daily Mail now

HandsOffMyRights · 04/12/2019 07:52

From The Mail: Yaniv's Twitter profile describes her as an 'LGBTQIA+ Advocate, Friend, Daughter & Tech Blogger. She/Her/Hers. Human rights advocate. Model. Global Internet Personality. Social Justice Warrior. Marketer'.

I don't need to add to this...

YourOpinionIsNoted · 04/12/2019 07:56

Sorry, haven't read the full thread (school run) but if anyone's able to tweet this to Ricky Gervais it might be worth it.

StrangeLookingParasite · 04/12/2019 08:01

Pronouns cannot function as correction fluid for those who are dissatisfied with reality.

Oh this.

And Ricky Gervais has seen it and tweeted in response. The tweet is upthread.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/12/2019 08:07

I thought they were a techy and teenybop band promoter (back in the day). Also keen swimmer.

ChattyLion · 04/12/2019 08:07

Gervais post has about 65k likes Smile
People know what’s happening here.

BlouseAndSkirt · 04/12/2019 08:10

Jess, love, you may find psychiatrists more inclusive. Try one of them?

(Actually does anyone know what medical discipline deals with ‘bottom surgery ‘ and the prescription if female hormones? Is it gynaecologists? Because this seems to be the basis of Jess’s argument)

BertrandRussell · 04/12/2019 08:10

“ Even he would surely realise suing a gynaecologist would be an impossible task since they have insurance for good lawyers.”

They also have insurance to settle out of court and make things go away. This could be a very clever and lucrative move on Yaniv’s part.

NightLion · 04/12/2019 08:14

Attention seeking prat.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 04/12/2019 08:40

Did "Grifter" not fit in because there was a word limit?

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 04/12/2019 08:41

I'd think that to do MTF surgery you'd need a urologists as well as a surgeon, wouldn't you? At least if you want the patient to be able to pee afterwards.

acatcalledjohn · 04/12/2019 08:41

Pronouns cannot function as correction fluid for those who are dissatisfied with reality.

Pronouns are the Tipp-Ex of the entitled.

loserssaywhat · 04/12/2019 11:54

This thread has been an absolute eye opener for me.
I'm really struggling atm with my long held beliefs about trans rights. I've always felt very 'whatever, you do you' and that people should be allowed to live as whatever gender they felt appropriate. I probably would have considered myself and liberal feminist if ever asked.
A few months ago I read Cordelia fines 'delusions of gender' and it really set me thinking about the whole 'feeling like a woman' thing.

Ended up down the rabbit hole, as it were, after reading this thread last night and I'm just more confused than ever about how I feel.

I don't at all wish to hijack this thread but I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some blogs or some examples of books or articles I could read in order to further educate myself?

iswhois · 04/12/2019 11:57

Yaniv is the gift that keeps on giving. He will be what the TRAs hang themselves by to be honest.

BertrandRussell · 04/12/2019 12:00

I don’t think for a moment Yaniv is representative of trans people. However the fact that she is not universally condemned is worrying.

popehilarious · 04/12/2019 12:20

losers excellent first thread, should be a sticky: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3145470-Break-it-down-for-me

Worth having a look and seeing if you agree with Maya Forstater's witness statement, thread here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3753072-Maya-Forstater-witness-statement

Then read about why she's in court defending those beliefs...

You've got a fun ride ahead of you!

BarbaraStrozzi · 04/12/2019 12:20

Yaniv is of course not representative of trans people.

He is (and I use the word "he" because let us not forget this is a person who has openly published his fantasies about helping young pubescent girls insert their first tampon, so, frankly hell will freeze over before I call him "she") illustrative of what happens when a country is stupid enough to allow self ID without thought for the legal consequences thereof, and illustrative of what happens when you prioritise trans rights above all other rights (women's rights, the rights of ethnic minorities to play an equal role in society, freedom of speech, freedom of belief, freedom of association).

Yaniv is the logical end point if you start from the crazy premise that self ID trumps everything else.

The major failing lies not with Yaniv, odious as he is. The fault lies with a political system gripped by collective insanity, so determined to be open minded about everything that they've let their brains fall out.

acatcalledjohn · 04/12/2019 12:23

One concern though, which was a thought presented in a thread discussing the Ohio bill re transferring an ectopic foetus to the womb or face murder charges, is that Yaniv is simply going so extreme to shift the general thinking further left. That way when they propose something less extreme the majority will go: "oh, that's not so bad".

Like with the Ohio bill. The ultimate aim is to overturn Roe v Wade. If eventually people's thinking is sufficiently shifted further right through extreme ideas, it may result in it being overturned because hey, that isn't as bad as forcing a medically impossible procedure under the threat of murder charges.

Roe v Wade gets overturned, women's rights (in the US) will be trampled over more and more. Brilliant result for the extremists and sexual predators like Yaniv.

It's that point where far right and far left come together to fight against women's rights. Because men.

Ereshkigal · 04/12/2019 12:31

I don't think Yaniv is a strategist, just an attention seeker and using the law, but I suspect has some psychological issues. But I fully agree that others do this, and may capitalise on Yaniv's actions to push their agenda.
