Would insurance pay for a gyno visit to check out organs that don't exist out of fear of getting sued?

Interesting question. I suspect they would, as it certainly wouldn't lead to any expensive operations needing doing. A cheap examination might be worth it to avoid getting sued.

Chloemol · 03/12/2019 18:48

I have just Solent 20 minutes giggling at e responses on Yanivs twitter feed brilliant

MockersFactCheckMN · 03/12/2019 18:50

...Solent?

Kindly leave us out of this.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 03/12/2019 19:03

I wouldn’t want to be the doctor who suggests a prostate exam. I have no idea who does or doesn’t have one these days. It’s just a darn mystery...

IsadoraQuagmire · 03/12/2019 19:04

Nearly 6000 comments under that tweet, all sarcastic!Grin

AFairlyHardAvocado · 03/12/2019 19:06

God if it is an NHS style system and an appointment could be stolen from a woman in need of gynae treatment... fucking hell.

For someone who identifies as a woman Yaniv really fucking hates women eh?

StrayWoman · 03/12/2019 19:08

.

Yaniv's at it again
MarieIVanArkleStinks · 03/12/2019 19:09

Now that's tenacity, to be undeterred by the courts throwing out Yaniv's first spurious claims to Yaniv's pretensions to the rights of intimate feminine services. So having failed with the more frivolous beauty industry Yaniv is now starting on gynaecologists, who are into the serious business of looking after women's reproductive health? WTF does Yaniv want/need with the services of a gynaecologist?

Yaniv is delusional. Yaniv needs to feel the heavy hand of a counter-lawsuit and a sharp rap on the knuckles for wasting the Court's time, not least holding them in contempt. A 'female penis' is an oxymoron. It's an anatomical impossibility. And Yaniv is a better advertisement for that scales-falling-from-the eyes moment (is the stock phrase for this now a banned term on Mumsnet?) than Prince Andrew is for the abolition of the monarchy.

Mummyoflittledragon · 03/12/2019 19:13

a gynaecologist office that I got referred to

I’d really like to know who the fuck referred him? And if he got referred there due to his claim to be intersex with both sex organs.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 03/12/2019 19:14

If I was a doctor and a gynaecologist had really really pissed me off...

aliasundercover · 03/12/2019 19:14

Next:
Yaniv sues surgeon who refuse to perform hysterectomy on him.

PanicAndRun · 03/12/2019 19:18

Well Yaniv has serious trouble distinguishing between reality and their made up world.

So a referral could be anything from completely made up to posting on a forum with their"women issues" as a woman and someone saying "you should see a gynae for that". Or they read the signs on the marks left on a used pad. Fuck knows.

SlightlyBonkersQFA · 03/12/2019 19:21

They should send in a man who identifies as a woman to give him a smear 🤔

Goosefoot · 03/12/2019 19:24

In certain psychological circles, the TA argument is one that is particularly, and peculiarly, charged with unconscious elements of the psyche - and it seems to be shared collectively. And it seems to spread. Jung would probably have referred to it as a 'collective complex' - a complex being an unconscious constellation of behaviours that appear to act autonomously (that 'drive' the subject, rather that the subject being in conscious control of them). So the engine behind the kind of thinking that Yaniv seems to have - ie the energy that it takes to power Yaniv's thought processes and arguments - is largely unconscious.

This is interesting. In Yaniv's case, on a personal level, I think there is serious untreated mental illness that likely accounts for a lot.

But Jung IMO had some real insights into things like what drives mass delusions, and it would be really interesting to see a Jungian analysis of what is behind this particular belief.

UpperLowercaseSymbolNumber · 03/12/2019 19:27

@loserssaywhat well the thing about trans is that according to Stonewall, anyone who says they are trans is and anyone who says they identify as a women is a woman. Motivation is irrelevant.

Fandoozle1 · 03/12/2019 19:29

Don’t have twitter account but could read the comments.hilarious! Wonder if someone’s tagged Ricky Gervais for his take on this?

AFairlyHardAvocado · 03/12/2019 19:31

Ever since Yaniv's YouTube video with Blair's White I have been convicted Yaniv is a smug, cruel bully who is totally disingenuous.

Yaniv is getting a kick out of all of this rather than being mentally ill to the extent they genuinely don't see what they are doing is wrong.

Yaniv is laughing at us while Yaniv dismisses our rights.

Hiding behind a veneer of victimhood Yaniv reminds me of a smug bully at my school with a parent heading up the PTA which seemingly made them untouchable and unaccountable.

That PTA parent in Yaniv's case is the authorities' crippling fear of being labelled as transphobic. Which must be scarier than being called sexist it seems.

Disclaimer: I know many PTA parents are lovely, but this little shit and his mum weren't 😂

loserssaywhat · 03/12/2019 19:52

@UpperLowercaseSymbolNumber I'm beginning to see that.
It's only through forums like this one that im starting to educate myself on the subject.
This person is clearly a predator and yet it's the elephant in the room and we aren't allowed to challenge that?

FilthyBiscuit · 03/12/2019 19:56

Yaniv now claiming discrimination on Twitter.

@Goosefoot - I'd say that Jung would have definitely put some complexes under the mantle of mental illness. I was a Jung scholar, and have studied his work for about a decade now. I'll see if I can find something written about this - though a lot of analysts have bought into queer theory hook, line, and sinker.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 03/12/2019 19:58

For any newbies going "wait, who is this Yaniv person?", some lovely people have been kind enough to collate some relevant information for you.

AFistfulofDolores1 · 03/12/2019 20:06

@Goosefoot - A possible theory for the advocation of trans rights to the exclusion of women's rights could lie in what Jung termed the "Mother complex". Hypothetically, a man who has had a traumatically difficult relationship with his mother (probably because she was engulfing rather than absent), would over-identify with her to the extent that he may hold an unconscious wish to obliterate her by becoming her. It is a convenient way to erase 'woman' by 'body-snatching' her - and in fact art and literature have depicted this form of appropriation through the ages. This, however, would not be conscious by sheer nature of the dynamic. So there is no way to reason with what is unknown. It makes it no less powerful - and, in fact, its momentum may be even more powerful, given that the unconscious is far greater in breadth and depth than the part of us that we're aware of.

All of this is theory, of course, but from a Jungian perspective it makes sense.

vincentsleftear · 03/12/2019 20:08

Ricky Gervais has picked up on this.

Goosefoot · 03/12/2019 20:10

though a lot of analysts have bought into queer theory hook, line, and sinker.

Yes, I've noticed this, though I have also seen a few Jungian takes on gender ideology as a misdirected attempt to integrate the masculine and feminine elements of ourselves, which I thought were rather interesting. And also seemed more revealing or satisfying than seeing it wholly in terms of completely culturally imposed gender roles.

FilthyBiscuit · 03/12/2019 20:10

Ricky Gervais has picked up on this.
I saw he was tagged on Twitter. What's he saying?
