Sappho, everything you have reiterated has already been addressed. All of it.
It's just tedious repetition.
I'm forced to conclude that it's posie's completely unapologetic stance that riles people. She won't conform. She might have an opinion that isn't feminist.
But as a previous poster notes, if we were all suddenly under public scrutiny, there would be zillions of things that would tarnish us in the eyes of others.
But you've got nothing. She disapproves of hijabs on children, I don't know about her feelings on abortion, but many people are ambivalent. She was hosted by English Heritage, because they were the only one who gave a venue. But that's the extent of her involvement, as far as I know. Her comment about transmen being sterilised was explosive, precisely because it does show up that you can't live as a man if you're not one. And it was an exasperated comment after she had been goaded beyond endurance about how awful it is to be pregnant and have to identify as male. She has since explained.
This is pathetic. She doesn't believe in forced sterilisation of course!
She's an appealing, gobby, fearless, woman.
She's not an academic, she's not a lifelong, coal face feminist.
But it's interesting how no one will actually address the content of her activism. Because, how can you not agree with it?
So either you want her to stop and so you have to go to the ad hominem, or you think she damages the cause.
She clearly doesn't damage the cause.
Transactivists everywhere try to shut this woman up. That's all you need to know about what she is doing for the cause.
And now, thanks to all the attempted censorship, so do over 300,000 other people, and every lurker on this long and informative thread.
