This is a new thread for parents who are experiencing the phenomenon of Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria in their tweens/ teens/ young adults.

Sadly we are being watched and our words taken out of context so please be careful what you say.

I want the UK and beyond to listen to parents. Even if it is deemed as anecdotal for now, it is important for someone to acknowledge our perspective. The trans narrative is trying to undermine our credibility.

Can anyone recommend a private therapist in SW London who doesn't automatically "help them transition", who challenges them, digs into what makes ROGD kids feel the way they feel, finds out what other problems they may have. My daughter is 16 identifying a boy since less than a year ago. I don't know if you can private-message on this group. Thank you

I wish I could remember a thread where someone came on who had a lot of experience and statistics to show that children who have been in care are far more likely to believe they are trans gender.
