Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Not having sex with someone because they don't have the right genitals is transphobic. No prizes for guessing who's claiming this

RM is busy trying to justify their support for a particularly unpleasant tweet yesterday. For those of you who are blocked, I'll add some grabs.

The whole "eat your broccoli, it's good for you" approach to coercing young women into unwanted sex is one of the more offputting ways of manipulating women and girls into touching their cocks male humans have come up with. Nothing says sexy like "you can learn to cope with it".

It's less 'eat your broccoli' than it's your social and moral duty to do it and t is morally wrong of you to give in to your feelings and your own preferences and fail to do the Right Thing. Mr Murdstone on crack. Dickens and the Bronte sisters used to write novels taking the piss out of this kind of abusive, ridiculous twit.

And note the extreme double standards at play here:

some people's feelings are so important that you must never use language except of their personal choice, or they may become so upset that they are a danger to themselves.

Other people's feelings are stupid and naughty and they need to get over them right now, or punishment may be required.

There's a biological sex class specific to each group. Which gives yet another lie to 'you can't tell what sex someone is'. Yes you bloody can, just identify the ones being told what they can and can't do with their bodies and threatened. Really fast way to do it. Spot the XX chromosomes.

Tsk, BeMoreMagdalen, you need to calm yourself down!

How about a little song to rest your lady-nerves?

How long does it take fruit to go rotten?

Other news - a cycling event begins on Saturday 12th October at the Manchester Velodrome.

Can I be bold and recommend here, in public, that no feminist groups or individuals protest the cyclepath at the cycling? Tbh, I think the narc may well be getting a hard on thinking of all the women coming to focus on cyclepathself. I think it would be so much more effective to go along with banners focused on supporting the female competitors, if you get me.

Agree. This may help with who to support...

Unfortunately I wont be able to make it

Yeah, best not even joke. Someone will insist it's a threat of literal violence.

andyoldlabour · 08/10/2019 16:58

To be perfectly honest I don't think a three hundred mile round trip would be worth it.
