WGKitty is someone, a woman, I believe, who lives in the same building and is practically the KF "mole", posting updates on that he is up to. So the threat could be real. No link but you know how to find it. The plot thickens... this is a criminal offence in Canada carrying a sentence of up to five years imprisonment.

What's surprises me most about that KF thread is how many people seem surprised that JY has escalated to carrying weapons/ threatening violence. I've never seen an individual so obviously likely to present a serious danger to women. Everything about him screams dangerous and deranged. The lawsuits alone were a read flag that this is someone seriously unstable. Then the way he's been dressing in public, clearly clearly pushing every social boundary and not only getting away with it but being praised and protected. Canada and Twitter have lead him to believe that he's untouchable, and the recent events with the taser will only have reinforced that. He absolutely has the potential to kill a woman. He's an extremely dangerous man and I'm shocked so many KW members seemed to think he was just a harmless hilarious troll.

But this is all a really good example of why the behaviour of self identified TW, whether "real" or adopted for sinister reasons, needs to be understood and analysed in the context of male behaviour and male pattern criminality. If you've ever been targeted by an abusive male, or even witnessed it, JY behaviour is immediately and predictably familiar. You can then use your knowledge of male predatory behaviour to predict how the situation will escalate. People like MB saying "this person is using their womanliness to be abusive, lots of women do that" are playing a very very dangerous game.

I don’t think this is an accurate statement because their reason for being is to comment and watch but not get involved, but it was KFs who gathered the evidence and reported JY to the police. This is very much not their MO.

I feel like part of the problem is that we've somehow tried to sever the link between these kinds of personality disorders and various sorts of boundary pushing and weird behaviours. Most people have that link intuitively but it seems like we are just going farther and farther trying to say that it's all just ok diversity, that we need to include people.

And it pulls from a lot of different things that may be fine on their own. There was a similar discussion years ago about whether homosexuality was sexual deviancy and now most would say it isn't related to that, or there are campaigns to make people aware that autistic people may behave in ways that seem a little odd. Somehow people have extended all of this to the point where we are not supposed to even recognise behaviour that should make us wary when we first see it.

Yes, there's quite a correlation between countries with a poor record for equality, particularly for women and homosexuality, suddenly grabbing the T rights with both hands. Take Iran, for example. Gender reassignment is available for free - but homosexuality can be punishable by death. Trans away the gay, no regard for women's rights.

He is obviously seriously mentally ill and unstable. Before the fucked up reversal and 'diagnosis capture' that tries to deny that identity disruption/ gender dysphoria/ is a mental illness, we all knew that these symptoms and personality disorders could be indicators of serious risk. That the person suffers serious emotional dysregulation/ delusion/ distress/psychosis/ rage etc is very likely but also we knew this was a potential risk to women. Its clearly linked with issues with mothers and abusive fathers from very early childhood. Like men's violence, men's mental illness has different presentations and risks than women's even if the cause is similar eg childhood abuse /CSA etc.

Its just dangerous to think that some mentally ill people have more control and reason than they do just because we may have a need for them to be responsible for their actions, or a need to blame or to get rid. There is a huge distinction between ration manipulation and irrational compulsions that are deeply embedded in disordered thinking and beliefs. JY just has more serious symptoms than many that are barely under control.

I do believe JY is a huge and serious risk, and I do not have more sympathy for JY than for women, but I also think it is cruel that someone with his conditions is given the opportunity to spearhead a (misogynistic) campaign based on their delusions when this escalation is entirely predictable. His enablers are also toxic and damaged. its so frightening and frustrating that we are deliberately prevented from making correct diagnoses that in turn make us unable to risk correctly assess risk. So many people are being harmed by all this.

People with gender dysphoria might not want to accept that they have mental illness, but they have and they need proper treatment not enabling and collusion. This has to stop
