Men who do ballet. Women wrestlers. Female scientists, male make up artists
With the possible exception of female wrestlers I'm really puzzled at the idea that the other examples are "challenging gender stereotypes". These are just things that people do.
I agree they do them. But many people still seem to struggle with these sorts of examples, and Im sure many more. And little kids too. Take a look at the results of asking kids to draw a doctor or a fire fighter in Caroline CP's invisible woman - all men.
so yes, we adults know this, but kids increasingly seem to see the world through highly gendered glasses, and these need ripping off.
