Why can’t transgender lesbians just date each other?

I keep seeing online transgender women so angry a female lesbian doesn’t want to date someone trans, but it begs the question why can’t they just date each other?

If they genuinely believe a trans woman is without question a woman and they are attracted to women then surely this would solve all their problems in terms of finding a partner? They could just date each other? Unless they don’t want to date trans women because they don’t see trans women as real women? Hmm

Again, I don’t care if you think I’m a man. That matters nothing to me. I’m not trying to instruct you into how to properly be a woman. I’m not trying to do that with my words, behavior, or a penis.

At this point, i’m here to just support you, accept you, hopefully learn something new and maybe make some new friends. I don’t think that respect, care for others, or a willingness to engage in constructive dialogue is a feminine or masculine trait. If anything, I think it’s just called good character.

as far as service to others, I love it. I thrive in that. That’s just who I am. I have worked in nonprofit community service and I chose teaching as my entire profession.

It just seems to me like there has been a whole lot of interest. I’m not entirely sure at this point the proper next step here. Not because of your lack of respect, I could care less about that, but because it’s unclear if you are able to actually engage in meaningful conversation with me or have the willingness to do so.

Acceptance of exactly who you are. It seems clear from a lot of posts here that some of you all have dealt with a lack of acceptance. Id prefer to be a person who is accepting of others with different ideas.

I've never experienced a lack of acceptance except in the context of men (male people, pen!5-havers) not accepting that I am an adult capable of making my own decisions and living my own life without their advice and commentary.

I'd like to hear more about Morten the Roomba. Are there photos? In jokes? A radio who now misses him greatly? He sounds a much finer bot than the others on here and I would like to mourn his passing

That’s exactly how I feel, too. I’m fascinated that there exists an entire community here based on opposition to another group of people who seem to have a lot of the same feelings.

i imagined you would be pretty distrusting and kept my expectations pretty low, but I still feel like I have learned a whole lot here, and really grown from this experience. I appreciate you all taking the time to read some of my thoughts and experiences. I’m happy I was able to share and listen to you all. I know that what people say doesn’t always matter that much. It’s my understanding that how you choose to perform here doesn’t really reflect how much you carefully considered my own perspectives as well.
