Why can’t transgender lesbians just date each other?

I keep seeing online transgender women so angry a female lesbian doesn’t want to date someone trans, but it begs the question why can’t they just date each other?

If they genuinely believe a trans woman is without question a woman and they are attracted to women then surely this would solve all their problems in terms of finding a partner? They could just date each other? Unless they don’t want to date trans women because they don’t see trans women as real women? Hmm

I happen to have an advanced degree in a related subject, and I graduated with top honors. I don’t mean to say that means you know less, maybe you know more to be honest, but I did give of own time to form an opinion on this matter, and while you are welcome to your own, I think clearmoth could do well, and deserves some encouragement.

I also happen to feel that grammar and syntax are possibly the least interesting aspects of this language, and that language police like you disenfranchise people who learn English as a second language and still are capable thinkers.

It’s such wildly odd behaviour to come into a two year old thread and lecture people at length, and then offer to “support” everyone indiscriminately.

I really am not sure about the part-bot thing, even though I invoked the detector. Bots have more conventional grammar, though you could get one to write in that style to throw people off.

I wonder if it might be an extremely inept attempt to mine for womanly confidences of the sort that some TW find so validating.

Or perhaps just a clumsy version of the “helper” personality type that’s desperately trying to avoid dealing with their own stuff. I’m fascinated, in a way. I hope whoever is behind Veronica finds a suitable way to receive the “support” they keep offering. The disconnection is deep.

It’s just every third post, and like post after post in a row, is @Veronicawiththefacts talking about herself, the verbal equivalent of how those swimmers described Leah Thomas changing in front of them, standing there staring at them and challenging them to react. This is someone getting their jollies by watching how women react to them online.

There are definitely some posts that read like a bot - the syntax varies markedly from post to post.

Will Veronica Chatbot talk about horses and fairies, or does it have a human filter who knows not to feed sarcasm into it? Is it capable of complexed concepts like humour? Does it understand cultural references?

It’s not a computer program. It’s grammar and punctuation and too poor to be a computer program. Even Microsoft understands basic grammar and punctuation and put a front end on it. I think it’s either someone for whom English is not their native language, or someone of low intelligence swinging their thoughts around willy nilly hoping to startle us.
