What with Debbie Hayton's article in the TES, TRAs have issued twitter orders that looking things up on Transgender Trend must stop immediately.

There has been an All Ports warning that the more you visit the website, the more it rises up the google rankings, and knocks other transgender websites off their perches. This is erasure, they say.

Now do as you are told. Stop driving by Transgender Trend at least once a day, if not more, and ruining things.

I'm not sure it's a simple as a few keywords for search engine optimisation these days

I'm sure you are right and I'm sure they are probably on with any use which can be gleaned from Alexa (hardly an unknown resource after all).

I was just wondering whether sites like TT sometimes neglect SEO voodoo because generally they are community resources which might not want to be too 'commercial' in their approach.

Gosh, my memory isn't what it once was. I clicked on www.transgendertrend.com/ and opened a few tabs, then completely forgot to close them when I went to make a meal. I really don't think my little oversight will have made any different to any Google results, do you?
