What with Debbie Hayton's article in the TES, TRAs have issued twitter orders that looking things up on Transgender Trend must stop immediately.

There has been an All Ports warning that the more you visit the website, the more it rises up the google rankings, and knocks other transgender websites off their perches. This is erasure, they say.

Now do as you are told. Stop driving by Transgender Trend at least once a day, if not more, and ruining things.

So, if you google "transgender school resources" it is tippity top link.

But if you google "trans school resources" you get Mermaids and AllSorts.

Interesting.

Googled Transparancy and well you all know about my spelling... ended up on a very interesting website that spoke with absolute clarity about the alarming trend that is ruining kids lives which I obviously did not read

Google also really likes it when you visit more than one page on a website, particularly if you click on internal links and stay on them for a decent amount of time, say a minute. It reduces the 'bounce rate'-people visiting a website then closing almost immediately-and improves its ranking.

Just in case anyone is visiting any websites today....

I would definitely NOT recommend leaving a comment on a blog post that contains similar keywords to the blog post itself. For example-if you are reading a blog post about transgender resources for schools and you leave a comment that contains the phrase 'transgender resources for schools' Google hates that.

Or does Google love it-I can't remember...

Well I was googling money transfers and something went wrong. And then I tried trans fats and it all went pear shaped. I'll be very careful now.

I will definitely do that and I absolutely won't make the mistake of googling on all devices I have access to. Then looking at different pages.

I googled the permitted search "trans schools" and can confirm that Stonewall, Mermaids and Allsorts have top billing. The forbidden search, Transgender Trend came up on page two.

To save you the bother, I clicked on the forbidden one and yes it is indeed Transgender Trend. To double check, I opened a link and then got distracted by the washing machine for a couple of minutes. To be clear - don't do that.
