I can’t believe what I’ve just watched. Eddie Izzard is on Joe Rogan saying ALL bathrooms should be gender neutral and completely dismissed the concerns women have that Joe brought up. He dismissed it as “people always complain when there’s change”

The whole thing is so selfish and entitled.

He looks a mess. He looks like something that would be right at home sitting in the corner of the Rovers Return with Enid Sharples and Hilda Ogden.

More and more he looks like someone who would be right at home with Hayden and Harrop.

I'm another who used to quite like him (despite the hint of smug that has always been there) but over the past couple of years his head has disappeared up his own arse.

I think many men would find it quite horrific to have to share public toilets with women, apart from the places, such as aeroplanes or small cafes where we’ve come to expect that.
They’re private places where men and women want some privacy, safety and outmoded word, dignity!
Eddie Izzard comes over in the YouTube clip as somebody who hasn’t thought very deeply about the subject. He is also, although he likes the female identity, someone who has not, and will never have to face the more difficult aspects of being a woman.
I’m for gender neutral facilities but only in addition to the current men’s and women’s toilets. That leaves everybody with a bit of dignity.

larrygraysonsdoor I work in a university library and members of the public are allowed to come on to campus and use the library, sports facilities, arts centre etc.... So potentially yes any member of the public can just come in.

Forgot to add that staff students and visitors all use the same toilets. There are no separate facilities for staff.

Women have miscarriages or occasionally babies in public loos. Many teenagers start their periods when they're out and about.

Unfortunately I think women bleeding and distressed gives some twisted men their jollies. So the more we shout about it the more desperate these men become in their fight for access. It's probably their ultimate fantasy.

Neither right wing not Christians would or are to my knowledge calling for mixed sex toilets, quite the opposite. The men mostly going to the extreme with so called equality are mostly left wing types!

I wonder where the 20 something Eddie would have gone to change from women's clothes back to men's clothes if there are no women's toilets to hide in? Didn't he say used the women's to avoid confrontation from men?

Mixed loos wouldn't have helped eddie. Maybe I'm wrong and that's not why he used the women's toilets.
