I can’t believe what I’ve just watched. Eddie Izzard is on Joe Rogan saying ALL bathrooms should be gender neutral and completely dismissed the concerns women have that Joe brought up. He dismissed it as “people always complain when there’s change”

The whole thing is so selfish and entitled.

Yes - what was I thinking - even with surgery. Is it bone structure, poise, expression, mannerism?

Not sure but the whole ‘pass’ thing is a red herring because - here’s the thing about women - we pretend not to notice and lie so that we don’t hurt someone’s feelings. This is something they just don’t ‘get’.

I agree with all of the above. I just wonder whether the same will be true if/when the present cohort of young trans children, who are put on puberty blockers, followed by cross-sex hormones, actually reach adulthood. Will a transwoman who has not been through male puberty truly pass in all normal circumstances?

Castrati did not take oestrogen, but they had a very particular body shape that gave the beautiful sound. The long bones grow longer with castration, so they were extremely tall, with a long, deep ribcage . Susie Green’s child had to be given yet more drugs to halt growth, as growing extremely tall.
I have been watching a BBC doc from a few years ago on the Castrati, where they attempt to synthesise that lost sound. Horrifying to think we may hear that voice again, with boys chemically castrated at nine or ten.

Totally idiotic. I hate the idea of girls at school having to share with boys with a passion. The notion that young girls starting periods etc would have to have boys around them in toilets is abhorrent to me. His statement about "giving you figures" was utter nonsense too. What figures Eddie? Generalised statements "it has stopped bullying" is neither figures nor fact.

Having said that, I would have no issue with individual toilets (with a sink in each one) that can be used by anyone.
