The differences between female and male strength based in their physiological differences from someone who has been training both sexes for a very long time - Mark Rippletoe from Starting Strength (startingstrength.com).
Interestingly, after the first podcast Mark Rippetoe comments that he had had no death threats. I may go to hell because I found that particular section of the podcast extremely funny, no matter how politically incorrect, (how many handguns are in the room right now?).
The discussion on the Starting Strength forum is also robust but very respectful. I’m quite sure the responses, had it been a woman speaking, would have been very different.
Anyway - well worth a listen for an excellent discussion of the topic.
