But to summarise...

Facts:

1. The lifter identifies as female, and so entered the contest (with no prior consultation with the Meet Director or (100% RAW officials). Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are* based on physiological classification rather than identificatio*n. On the basis of all information presented to the Board of Directors for this particular case, the conclusion made, is that the correct physiological classification is male.

2. Since the lifter’s gender classification for the purpose of our rules is not consistent with female, no female records will be broken by these lifts.

3. The lifter was uncontested during the event therefore no female lifters were denied a place finish. The lifter will be placed in a different category once the Transgender Division is introduced with a new policy.

1. Drug testing results have not been completed and will take about another week to come back from the lab. As a drug test failure invalidates the lifts, we will need to wait for the results of the drug tests to determine if the lifts can be counted at all under our current set of rules.

Maybe we need 2 sets of sports based on biological sex and fluffy gender.

Are there many bio women competing in male categories? Now many is guess and a teensy % of the number of bio males competing in women's categories.

So basically they said they were a woman but RAW powerlift association doesn't recognise self-id so they're going to set up a separate transgender category.

I hope this knob gets beaten by someone else next week. McKinnon's been boasting about how much they can lift - maybe they can challenge?

Ah I was being a bit paranoid. Have read the statement now, it's such a breath of fresh air to have a sports body that isn't pussy-footing around the situation, and calls a spade a spade.

So brazen, just rolls up and doesn't admit to being T and announces to the word that they've set new world records in women's sport. They've been handed their arse by RAW.

Considering McK watches MN and searches their name, and how quickly they twitter splurge as soon as there is any trans sport story, they are v v quiet on this.... Ooo maybe they're busy weight training

Well, that is certainly a great decision, a little bit of common sense and light at the end of the tunnel.
I reckon McK will be going into meltdown over this, particularly when combined with the Semenya ruling.
McK has been boasting about their sprint speed on twitter as well and if it is true, then it is pretty quick.

Some people have absolutely no shame, they don't care how many others tell them they're cheating, as long as they can post their smug photos 😂

McK can keep on boasting. Maybe if they boast enough they'll get themselves boasted right back to the correct category for their "physiological classification"

From what I can make out it's possible the drug testing has been completed as per point 4 of the original statement, made 1st May, from Raw 100%

And from the outsport piece:
During the meet, following her bench press, Gregory said an official told her they needed to drug test her again, claiming her sample leaked, she said. But this time, the official told her she needed to observe her providing a urine sample.
“I said, ‘Well, this is kind of embarrassing for me, because I don’t have the correct anatomy.’ Still, I did my business while somebody watched me sitting on the toilet. And so that’s where that statement comes from, because I’m sure she told them, ‘Hey! This girl’s got a penis!’”

I cannot find any other news that verifies the that the records and trophies have been stripped, and MK re-tweeted Outsports with out comment.

If anyone else knows more, or could verify, this might be good news.

“It’s very hard to tuck and lift in a singlet, but I figured it out!” Gregory laughed, revealing that instead of tape, she wears up to three pairs of underwear.

Since beginning powerlifting, she’s significantly lost weight, from 270 pounds almost four years ago to 179 now. But Gregory notes that while lifting has helped her transition, it’s actually hurt her athletic performance.

She posted on her Instagram profile that prior to starting on hormones, she could lift 408 pounds in the squat, 298 in the bench press and 507 in the deadlift. Now, since starting HRT, those numbers are drastically lower: 314, 233, and 424 pounds.

She says that as far as appearance goes, she’s like any other woman: “100 percent female. I get my hair styled female. Ears pierced, nails painted. But I don’t wear makeup.”

Yep, I read that and thought 'oh dear'

Clearly having nothing to tuck, not doing my nails, or styling my hair like a laydee means I'm failing - again - to woman right!

This was in that trans supportive article and is a quote from the weightlifter.

Gregory is a construction worker, and said she lacks the insurance coverage for bottom surgery. Although she is a lesbian, she said she isn’t in any hurry to get it.

I wonder why? 🤔 The person that calls themselves a ‘lesbian’ wants to retain their penis, but likes having sex with actual women than have female sexual organs. Odd that. I thought only men straight liked putting their penis in a woman. Very confusing.

I just don't get the mindset. I really don't. Setting records as a male in a female category means diddly squat in terms of sex class performance. This is not a female athlete ergo this is not a female record. And that claim that the officials there had to see a penis to recognise this was a male competitor is just ludicrous.

That photo of Gregory with all the trophies that Gregory won... unbelievable. Hey look, I beat the women in EVERY category I entered for, amazing me!!

Gregory might as well have gone to a trophy shop and just bought them, it would be as meaningful as what Gregory actually did. And actually a good bit more honest. Because Gregory wouldn’t then have been trying to cheat actual women athletes out of their victories.

How long? How long is this butt naked Emperor going to keep strutting around in front of hordes of people saying how much they love his new outfit? HOW LONG?

And yes, what is that mindset, CharlieParley? It’s hard to fathom.

This is great! All power to the RAW powerlifting federation! Glad they 'weighed in' (nicked that from the twitter comments) and made a decision based on reality.
