I have zero doubt this is the case. They were complicit, I think even endorsing, the intimadatory rubbish that GIRES sent into schools. Then the Miranda Yardley debacle. If they were aware that what Miranda had done was not breaking any law whatsoever, why bring the case? Unless it's to intimidate.

Caro, if you can get this anywhere near the newspapers, it would be a massive eye-opener for the rest of the country.

And yes, lawyer up with somebody who gets the situation. Who understands the tactics, can read between the lines, etc. Miranda's lawyer for example.

And yes, get Miranda's barrister, Gudrun Young. And crowdfund to pay for it, then sue the police when they drop the case. You won't win a case against the police probably, but the public attention that it gathers will be immense.

These are all test cases to try and make it into a crime.

I have noticed that you are always polite Caroline and find it hard to think you would intentionally misgender anyone. No advice to offer but and would contribute to fundraiser.

Wonder if the collapse of the case against Miranda Yardley two weeks ago inspired a renewed trawling of past "hate incidents" that had been No Further Actioned. To find one that they could pursue. And this was the best that they could come up with.

I'm suspicious of the timing.

I don't get why they are still doing this though. Every single time they report to the police for wrong think it goes really badly for their cause. Nobody outside of their bubble is on their side, people who have no clue about this debate get angry about the free speech element and the police are roundly mocked.

Thanks everyone. I have just spoken to a lawyer who is going to act for me. They believe this is a politically-motivated test case and that I am going to get a tough time under interview. Which is why they will be present to intervene and intercept any inappropriate questioning.

They are on a time-critical mission, that's why. And they have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

They want self-ID introduced before people realise the implications of it, they want to push through children being medicalised younger and given surgery younger.

They need to do all of this before the wider public clock on to the implications of it.

The only way that they can do this is to try to silence dissenters. Or even people who ask ordinary, respectful, questions. Because the cult does not want any light to be shone on them. For obvious reasons.

A lot of people would be intimidated (and have been intimidated) from speaking out. Who knows how many people have meekly accepted that they shouldn't tweet about transgenderism when the police have turned up at their door to tell them not to? Margaret Nelson was told by police to remove her blog about biological differences after death. She went on Twitter and told the world. How many other people would be willing to be so public about it?

If you don't believe in gender or ascribe to it in any way, can you be misgendering someone? Surely you are just describing their sex and not their gender?

Also a dedicated lurker here, I am outraged that you are being harassed in this way. I have been leafleting secretly and retweeting some of this stuff but the fear of a knock on the door from the police does freak me out. It’s ridiculous that we should be scared of speaking the truth.

I will happily donate if it comes to it, and just know that you have a lot of support.

God this is awful. Surely they can’t arrest you if no crime has been committed?! What are they arresting you for?? What would they say the offense was?

Glad you have a good lawyer, that’s a relief. Take down names and dates of your own, keep copies of notes you take and keep them safe.

Start using their own stupidity to trip them up - firstly by complaining about the officer talking that crap about ‘summons’, and threatening to get you arrested for not agreeing to interview- what a load of made up rubbish! You have rights. Assert them and get these bullies pulled into touch!

As far as I remember, from the Posie case, she and her lawyer could get sight of the actual complaint that Susie Green made. Including what screenshots were supposed to be offensive.
