There is no crime of misgendering. This is exactly why Jordan Peterson, the Canadian clinical psychologist, protested about the C16 bill in Canada recently, which sought to mandate, by law, the personal pronoun of choice by another. He said personally that he would respect an individual request to address them by whatever pronoun they had chosen, but this depended on circumstance and motivation, among other things.
His issue is one of free speech, not trans rights, and anyone who's ever listened to him properly knows this. I believe the bill has now passed into law.
I would love for you to have the funding and support to really blow this one out the water. This is how it starts; a phone call from the police, using words like summons, arrest, interview and with threats if you don't immediately concede. You can bet your life some of the police officers involved are wondering why on earth they are being asked to investigate. But of course Inspector Woke is breathing down their neck.
