My lovely, very professional male gynaecologist doesn't tell women to 'shut the fuck up' if they request his female colleague. Because he's not rapey and because that would be really quite weird and aggressive.
The problem is women need to know the correct words to use. If we request a women, what does that mean? Male transpeople with a GRC can use the word female, even those without a GRC, claim to have female on their passport.
With the words women and female apparently meaning different things to different people, I don't know how anyone is supposed to request a suitable hcp with confidence.
