could someone bring me up to speed? Last I saw he was merrily tweeting and being talked about here.

He is currently in NZ I think, having announced he is taking a break from twitter. This was all in the aftermath of some pretty shocking tweets even by his standards, posting pictures of people's workplaces and thinly veiled threats. Last I saw re the GMC they were requesting evidence from those he'd targeted so seem to be taking it seriously. I imagine he's been warned about his behaviour or maybe someone close to him has had a word.

But yeah - the GMC are investigating him for his use of social media. It had got pretty out of control.

A little bird told me he is now back in UK so is either recovering from jet lag or chosing to stay in his self enforced Twitter exile.

I’ve had more correspondence from the gmc saying they are investigating further. He knows this. The NZ thing is a cover as surely you can tweet from there.

I can't handle talking about Terry Wogan - I used to listen to him driving to work, he seemed such a lovely man. I'm not an emotional type, but I had to pull over when they announced he'd died, hearing the voices of everyone on Radio 2 all so upset made me cry and the tears stopped me being able to see where I was going.

I never met the man, or even spoke to him, so it was fairly ridiculous, but I was properly upset.

Sidetracking, I was peak-Woganed first by the revelation that he was paid a tidy sum to present CiN, but then by Paul Gambaccini's book, where he describes his return to R2 where he was welcomed with open arms by all the DJs except one.
