I mean anything could be true given the statement is about a man pretending to be a transmen and therefore a woman. It's like a beautiful rainbow journey to magic pixie land.

There's an easy solution to this. It is perfectly acceptable for a business to ask to see your birth certificate if they are applying the sex-based exemptions. As AH doesn't have a female birth certificate, I'd then offer AH an alternative dressing room if he didn't want to use the men's.

The real problem (and why legal sex self-id is such a huge issue) is how to exclude someone who does have a GRC. One possible solution would be to extend the "reasonable assumption" rule for religious purposes to all single-sex provisions. So if you show up with a female birth certificate but are clearly male, you could be excluded on that basis.

Of course, if we didn't allow birth certificates to be altered in the first place, we wouldn't have that problem at all. With some new, strict rules about using opposite-sex spaces without justification (such as accompanying a minor or a vulnerable person), this would probably be sorted very quickly.

If he still works where he used to there isn't a DL gym within a 50 mile radius so I doubt he's a member. He doesn't exactly look like he works out.

He's inadvertently making a case of self-ID, regardless of whether it's transwomen changing with women or transmen changing with women though!

I'd be interested to know what he thinks of RM's statement about pap smears and some of Harrop's own pals agreeing just how transphobic it is for women to be allowed to consent when it comes to intimate healthcare. As a doctor he knows how wrong that is but I bet he'll just pretend he didn't see it.

Here's a thought, maybe Dr H should focus on an area such as health issues affecting gay men?

He also seems to be alluding to Caroline Farrow, who he has already previously harrassed, with this tweet. So much for him stepping back from this debate. He's a menace who just cannot resist an opportunity to have a go at women.
