Oh God. And on the news today Talk about the desperate shortage of GPs. He might get a job yet though I can't imagine who would want to work with him. I was hoping for some stinker questions on DSD to flummox him.

Ah. The body of a woman who happens to have testicles. Hmm

LizzieSiddal · 01/06/2019 08:47

Let’s just hope any prospective employer, Google’s his name before offering an interview.

LizzieSiddal · 01/06/2019 08:47

I can’t believe he will be allowed to practice when he doesn’t even understand basic biology. What an idiot. I hope any patients he has refuse to be seen by him and complain. I honestly believe that he won’t take women seriously and they would end up having inadequate care.

GrumpyCatLives · 01/06/2019 13:04

This is genuinely terrifying Sad

This man hates women. He needs to be kept away from women and gender non-conforming children.

"The body of a woman who happens to have testicles."

If that muppet rocked up at my surgery, I think I would have to find another GP.

Katenobody19 · 02/06/2019 06:20

He might have passed his exam but he's still having his fitness to practice investigated

MoleSmokes · 02/06/2019 14:07

As already posted above but an aspect of this had me wondering about Haddock's GP training, ie. whether he is still training with the NHS and/or has been boosting his training via a private training company and/or has some other link with Emedica?

"Quick bit of very exciting personal news: To my great relief, I’ve just found out that I’ve passed the final practical exam of my GP training! So pretty much all set to finish & pass out of the training scheme by the start of September! 😀✊🏼🥳🍾 @/Emedica @/rcgp @/HelenRCGP 😎👍🏼

Interesting that Haddock has tweeted his news to a private GP training outfit emedica.co.uk/faq.html - but not to Health Education North East @/HEENEast or his "Responsible Officer" there, Namita Kumar @/namita1

I wonder if that has any significance? He was certainly doing his GP Training with Health Education North East, part of "NHS Health Education England" (GMC register info is only updated annually)

(GMC register info is only updated annually)

Are you sure about that? They were pretty quick with the updates when the Webberley's were suspended, and when Mike Webberley had conditions placed on what he was allowed to do prior to his suspension.

Needmoresleep · 02/06/2019 16:45

Vacancies at genderGP for a newly qualified Harrop? Clearchemist may also need someone with a Uk registration to sign off on prescriptions.

FannyCann · 02/06/2019 18:05

MoleSmokes I think Emedica are an online exam crammer outfit and God knows, he must have needed to pack in some cramming what with every spare hour being spent on Twitter.
I'm not quite sure how he will have completed the clinical training requirements, he was doing locum work in January last year then doing some GP work by the summer. I'm amazed the training deanery wouldn't just kick him out, and I'm not sure how much choice training GP practices have regarding the trainees they accept (or are allocated) but I would have thought he would be an unpopular addition to any practice. Still, it looks like he is on target to complete the requirements unless the GMC decide otherwise.

Thanks for the info @FannyCann

I still find it odd that he has not mentioned the deanery in his self-congratulatory tweet.

@OldCrone - it is the training info "pop out" window that says that the Register is updated annually. Sorry, I should have made that clearer - my bad! I take it to mean that training info is only updated annually.

Harrop's details in screenshot.

Passing the exam isn’t going to be much use if he’s found unfit to practice though.

That would be an awful shame wouldn’t it?
