Julia Long was asked to leave the venue, after asking MB if it was normal that an 11yr old child dancing in front of adults, has money thrown at them by grown men. This was at Transmission & was deemed an offensive question....video footage on twitter of the incident.....worth a watch, sorry I can’t link to it but hope someone else can.

Bear in mind everyone that Sabre is, apparently, a teenager themselves.

I think best to continue the safeguarding discussions between ourselves.

FromEden · 19/02/2019 16:31

How is this any different to letting kids run around at the beach?

Haha is this for real?!

You can't see a difference between a child performing in a night club at 4am with men leering and throwing money at him, and a child being a child and playing on the beach? Ffs

Popchyk · 19/02/2019 16:32

Apologists for child abuse.

Wonder exactly what they are hiding.

Datun · 19/02/2019 16:32

“The childs parents are okay with it, why can't you be?”

The parents are complicit in the sexual exploitation of their child. Why are you okay with that?

Teaching a child to be themselves isn't grooming, there is nothing illegal going on.

Oops, slipped up there a bit using the word teaching. You don't have to teach someone to be themself, do you?

Do you have children saberwolf? Or work with them?

WeRiseUp · 19/02/2019 16:33

Teaching a child to be themselves

Isn't that a contradiction?

Datun · 19/02/2019 16:33

LangCleg

Is saberwolf known on here?

Knicknackpaddyflak · 19/02/2019 16:35

If this was abuse, would it be done in the open?

Another standard safeguarding thing: if inappropriate things are happening to/around the child openly in front of witnesses, then start worrying. Because if that already inappropriate stuff is the socially inhibited behaviour they don't mind you seeing, what the hell goes on when they're behind closed doors?

BertrandRussell · 19/02/2019 16:36

They are grooming us as well.

Trousering · 19/02/2019 16:36

How do you teach a child to be themselves Saber? They just are themselves. What he's been taught is how to behave erotically for the sexual pleasure of men that are sexually atracted to him.

Saber has just started another thread called 'I am a teenage transwomen ' and is offering to educate all the bad transphobic feminists on here out of our 'fear'

RiverTam · 19/02/2019 16:37

so you wanted to be a sex object for adults as a child? Like Desmond? And you think your parents did wrong in not allowing that?

I think some people are pretty naive about how children learn about the world and how much of parenting is an exhausting repetition of "no" to so many unreasonable requests in order to teach them to make healthy and happy choices - gradually giving more freedom to choose for themselves to shape their futures.

Sexual exploitation is not one of those choices.

VickyEadie · 19/02/2019 16:39

Bunbury time. Tea break, everyone.

Seriously? If so, that should be good for a laugh or 12.

LangCleg · 19/02/2019 16:40

No, new today and has started a thread announcing themselves as a) teenage and b) trans.

I think best not to engage as it is unlikely to be productive and the person has stated they are young.

RiverTam · 19/02/2019 16:41

he is presenting in a highly sexualised way, to an audience of adults. If you truly can't see that, then that to me suggests you yourself have also been groomed.

LangCleg · 19/02/2019 16:42

Bunbury time. Tea break, everyone.

Yes. Please can we move the thread on with feminist discussion about safeguarding and not engage a young person (it won't be productive and it will end up hostile).

sackrifice · 19/02/2019 16:44

No i don't have children. but i was one and i was brought up like most children. my parents restricted me and my feelings i wasn't able to be myself as a young child.

You wanted to do sexy dances for money as a child?

Floisme · 19/02/2019 16:46

Much respect to you Julia Long Flowers
Personally I would not be wanting to draw attention to this thread were I a TRA - I think the more people see that video the better.

VickyEadie · 19/02/2019 16:46

Desmond is a massive safeguarding concern. His parents are exploiting him and causing him to be, additionally, exploited by the people who watch him 'perform' in the club.

There is nothing good about this - nothing at all.

Datun · 19/02/2019 16:47

Desmond's real name is Desmond Napoles.

From Wikipedia

Napoles identifies as gay and states that he has been out since a very early age. Napoles’s parents stated that at the age of two or three, they understood that he was “likely gay” and they exposed him to a variety of gay culture, including showing him drag performances and taking him to pride parades. Napoles’s parents stated that he was “openly gay” when he entered kindergarten.

How can a child be openly gay, which is about sexual orientation, if he is not sexualised. How can a kindergarten child be sexualised if not by grooming?
