Julia Long was asked to leave the venue, after asking MB if it was normal that an 11yr old child dancing in front of adults, has money thrown at them by grown men. This was at Transmission & was deemed an offensive question....video footage on twitter of the incident.....worth a watch, sorry I can’t link to it but hope someone else can.

this is normalising of children doing v adult things

Basically it's suggesting that it's liberating and empowering for children to be sexually exploited by adults. Which is only a small step away from 'it's liberating and empowering for children to do sex work'.

I don't honestly know why the govt are bothering to invest in operation yewtree while facilitating all this at the same time. The cognitive dissonance is unbelievable.

Corbyn et al in Labour hired Bergdorf last year to advise on exactly this.

Indeed.

And we're just a bunch of old "SWERFs" to object to this exploitation in any way.

Yep. And, as with all previous child exploitation scandals, most people are sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending it isn't what it is. Whistle blowers are cast out and discredited. When individual issues start to arise, there will be victim blaming. And eventually, when the whole thing blows all the people with their fingers in their ears will rush to find scapegoats to a) assuage their guilt and b) pretend their fingers were never in their ears in the first place.

Gay men: there will be blowback. Speak up now, before it's too late.

would you say the same to any parent abusing their child, saber? Have you actually seen what Desmond is doing, who he's doing it to and where?

Datun · 19/02/2019 16:25

"...it was focussed on how we can encourage children to be themselves, how we can listen to what they want to do.."

Said every groomer ever.

saber a child's choice to perform in a highly sexualised way in front of adults? I would suggest that this child has been groomed, and trans ideology allows just that, for abuse to happen in plain sight.

ToeToToe · 19/02/2019 16:28

I've never seen that on a beach, saberwolf. So it's it's really very different indeed.

WeRiseUp · 19/02/2019 16:29

If this was abuse, would it be done in the open?

Maybe ask all the people who defended PIE back in the day.

It's the child's lifestyle choice?

No. It seriously isn't. It's a group of adults enjoying themselves at the child's expense and calling it nice names to protect themselves from having to face that they're doing something wrong. Children are entitled to protection and that includes from making 'lifestyle' choices that include sexual exploitation. This is what adults and child protection is for.

If an eleven year old wants a BDSM lifestyle are you ok with that?

BertrandRussell · 19/02/2019 16:29

“The childs parents are okay with it, why can't you be?”

Have you seen what he does?

QuietContraryMary · 19/02/2019 16:29

"It's the child's lifestyle choice."

My cat recently informed me of his commitment to veganism. It's a lifestyle choice apparently.

Popchyk · 19/02/2019 16:29

Jimmy Savile abused children and women in the open.

Frequently on television in front of cameras.

have you googled Desmond, saber?

Lottapianos · 19/02/2019 16:31

He's eleven, saber. Eleven years old. A little boy. He doesn't get to make 'lifestyle choices '

BertrandRussell · 19/02/2019 16:31

Sabrewolf- have you seen what he does?

RiverTam · 19/02/2019 16:31

teaching a child to be a sex object for the gratification of adult men very much is grooming.
