How is this ethical. The drugs needed to maintain a pregnancy in a body nit designed to host it can't be safe surely ?

I'm on the donor list I want my uterus to go to a natal woman. Can we opt out of donating our uterus without opting out of organ donation?

Aside from the vital hormones (including the ones that stop the fetus being rejected by the mother's body) what about all the stuff the uterus is hooked up to, how would the blood supply feed and grow the baby, it doesn't make any sense. The uterus isn't some sort of grow bag. Who will donate the uterus and the eggs? And what is the point anyway, even if the impossible could be made possible?

You know what? Yes.. do it..let's let 'trans women' have the babies. I am sitting here with stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I probably have a maximum of 5 years left. If I am lucky. There is very little research into IBC in the UK. IBC is a disease which predominantly affects women. I understand that it is theoretically possible for bio men to get IBC but not the type that I have, since it is predetermined by my hormones. There is no cure. It is impossible to screen for. It doesn’t present as a lump. Once symptoms arise the disease is always already stage 3. I was unlucky enough to be stage 4 by the time it was diagnosed.

I am in the middle of chemo which is brutal. If the chemo shrinks the mass enough I MIGHT have a mastectomy. More likely I will be on chemo or endocrine therapy for the rest of my short life (I am 45) just to manage this fucking disease. A disease which ONLY AFFECTS WOMEN AND WHICHBIS POORLY RESEARCHED AMD POORLY RESOURCED. Aorru for shouting. I am a little bit cross.

And some idiot surgeon wants to waste resources looking at ‘plumbing in’ a uterus into a man because it is theoretically possible and to do otherwise would be illegal?! Because a trans man may wish to have a baby?! This is grotesque. Fuck off. Just fucking fuck off.
