I'm late to the party but can I just say how fabulous I think Jean, Posie, Lisa, the FWR regulars, the Resisters and the T shirts are.

Women who don't agree about anything else agree about this issue. That's our strength, not our weakness.

Can we stop all this now please? Let's focus on the brilliant feminist work that lots and lots of different women do all the time in various refuges and rape crisis centres and other women's services up and down the nation. Day in - day out. No one looks. No one rewards them. No one shouts about them on Twitter or Facebook. They just bloody get on with helping women.

And some of them have been doing it for decades.

I'm a little bit miffed as I only joined Twitter last week and started following a small number of feminists. The only tweet I've made so far is one in support of Jean after her blog post and now one of the other feminists has blocked me. It wasn't even anything heavy or singling out any individual for criticism.
