Looks like some of the unpleasant Lewisham Momentum based chums of LM have had a big spat with a housemate.

Apparently this now has something to do with LM and them supporting her for woman's officer, and they are blaming Te*fs.

Okay hands up... which mumsnetter has been breaking and entering in Lewisham. Come on own up.

I think we can guess where Madigan’s solicitor is based.
I don’t hold out much hope of Labour dealing with this properly, if at all. Being “trans” clearly excuses all sorts of appalling behaviour. Look at Challenor and the Lib Dem’s. Madigan has been a loose cannon for a couple of years but it hasn’t been dealt with.
I feel very sorry for Morgan, because Madigan is spiteful and feels invincible.

Just reading Twitter, even 'The Lawyer' has said she's worried this allegation is being made in public since there is no evidence.

Do 95% of the Party also disagree with the whole transwomen are women thing & the proposed GRA changes? Because if they do I WISH they'd shout more loudly.

I'm a Labour member, and (somewhat ashamed to say) I've really only become aware of what's going on in the last couple of months. I'd vaguely heard about trans equality being a thing, and my instinct was to think it was a good thing, on the whole, as I assumed it was about rights for a minority group. I only realised what was happening when there was an argument in my union branch and I stopped to think TWAW through to its logical conclusions - which got me reading WPUK and the threads here. Until then it was pretty much going on unexamined in my peripheral vision. I know a lot of people in my constituency Labour party have absolutely no idea and are going along with TWAW without having thought it through. And with any GC insight immediately stamped on as transphobic hate speech, the actual opportunities for anyone to have discussion and work out what they think are of course very limited.

I've complained about the summary dismissal of Morgan and the reputational harm this student spat is doing to the Party.

I am not a defamation specialist but my rusty memory of it was that it is a defence that what you said was true - not whether you believed it or not.

Same experience as my CLP, morningtoncrescent62. I do think we're in a large minority in the Party, but being constantly shut down. Many of the comments on that Scottish Young Labour thread are promising, many defending women and questioning the madness of us being constantly shot down, suspended, and silenced when we voice an opinion.

My concern about the status of the poor trousers is growing. They have been forgotten in all of this.

LM seems to be backtracking somewhat.

Of course, we have seen this kind of behaviour from them before. What usually happens now, is a deletion of all tweets and then a rewriting of history.

This time, having got someone suspended, LM is going to find it is not going to all go away.

Surely if she was 'let in' by someone already inside then, by definition, she had permission to be there - maybe not from everybody already in the house but atbleast by the person who let them in. How that became "breaking and entering" is a lesson in slander right there.

God it must annoy them so much that they can't stop us evil old terfs from discussing the nonsense they post in public. Just think, if they kept all this to themeselves and their friendship groups like normal people we'd know nothing about it and would have no opinion.
