Looks like some of the unpleasant Lewisham Momentum based chums of LM have had a big spat with a housemate.

Apparently this now has something to do with LM and them supporting her for woman's officer, and they are blaming Te*fs.

Okay hands up... which mumsnetter has been breaking and entering in Lewisham. Come on own up.

This latest drama has been brought to you by Dr Haddock and the over sensitive flowers!

Ringbinger sounds awfully familiar - it wasn't in an area starting with P was it?

VickyEadie · 13/11/2018 15:50

The Labour Party is an absolute shambles. The treatment of Venice Allan and Jennifer James is in very stark contrast to the continued indulgence of petulant, flaky young people like Madigan. We desperately need the grown ups to find a backbone and say enough is enough. We need leadership over the Brexit debacle and we need MPs to say that identity politics has gone far too far and won't go any further.

Agree completely.

Ringbinger · 13/11/2018 15:59

ABitCrapper no it wasn’t. It was in a place near the coast. Maybe a typical scene in them days?

HashtagLurky · 13/11/2018 16:09

Favourite student party I went to in the 80s: went on for two days and only reluctantly abandoned when the staircase collapsed and we had to leave by the first floor windows (then continued in the garden until the police and structural engineers arrived). I would not bother with being a student now, so far from knowing how to have a good time.

OlennasWimple · 13/11/2018 17:21

If being called out as a liar is so upsetting for LM, may I suggest that they

a) don't be a liar
b) don't lie on social media
c) think really hard about whether politics is really the right direction for them. (This isn't about politics not being nice, or whatever. It's about being able to hold politicians to account for what they say and do - if we can't say "hang on, are you sure that's correct?", democracy is screwed)

Ringbinger · 13/11/2018 17:33

Oh don’t be silly Olennas that would require Lily to consider that their behaviour is not quite as fragrant as they might think. Obviously it’s everyone else’s issue for not taking her at her word and requiring ridiculous things like proof.

DJLippy · 13/11/2018 17:36

I wrote a piece that collates the madness into a useful narrative if anybody is interested

It's interesting that in the screenshots of tweets, when LM is being challenged about her story they throw in something like "nothing was consensual" (about how the people gained entry to/were present at the property) to attempt to close down the conversation.

It's an extremely out of place term when referring to damage/graffiti done at a party, but obviously evokes unpleasant connotations of rape and makes LM (who wasn't even there) and her friends the victim(s) of the rape, so anyone questioning /challenging them appears crass, victim-blaming and unkind.

PutYourShirtOnMartin · 13/11/2018 23:36

Lily is back after a Twitter break

I have had longer shits

hipsterfun · 14/11/2018 00:02

More breaks than Grandmaster Flash, that one.

Ereshkigal · 14/11/2018 00:06

It's an extremely out of place term when referring to damage/graffiti done at a party,

Yes I thought that too.

LuggsaysNotaWomen · 14/11/2018 00:26

Since when did you have to have the consent of your flatmates to have mates in your room that you are paying for?

Maybe things have changed since I was in shared accommodation (which is admittedly a long time ago), but it seems a little bit of a liberty to charge someone half a grand a month for half a room and then police who they are allowed in it.

It's kinda fun to see how they've managed to twist someone widdling on the toilet floor and helping themselves to a hunk of cheese cos of a mid session munchie moment, into a scene out of a Jason Statham movie, all menacing and pulsating with violent intend. Gold star for wildly disproportionate reporting of facts.

To be fair on LM, it was one of her 'supposed' friends who was responsible for winding her and many others up with the original, misleading Facebook post. Look at the language used and how they failed to mention crucial facts. It was also that post that implicated her in the (non)incident. She wasn't the only one who lacked any critical thinking and swallowed the whole Jason Statham movie scenario as all the initial FB comments were things like 'Holy F*ck' and 'Hope you're ok'

Whatever we all think of LMs behaviour, she is still relatively young. She also appears naive, emotionally immature and possibly autistic? A prime target to be used and manipulated by older more worldly people.

If you are reading this Lily, you don't need friends like these. Go home and visit your Mum (family). They may use a wrong pronoun or tell you what an idiot you are but my money is on them loving you way more than anyone else ever has or ever will.

sorenipples · 14/11/2018 07:32

Operation clear up underway

The offending twitter handle has been recreated as a new almost empty account.

THe active account has been changed to something that can't be found searching for her names, and the most incriminating posts removed.

If only she just apologised

KatVonGulag · 14/11/2018 07:41

Oh and we have a twitter name change to :
Lils Mader

Madder?

If only we could change our names to get away from things we had done in the past 🤔

OP posts:
DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 14/11/2018 08:25

I propose MadigansShenanigans for the next Twitter handle.

NotTerfNorCis · 14/11/2018 08:33

Mader = made her?

calpop · 14/11/2018 08:35

It does make me laugh how these youguns live their whole life on social media, put every stray thought on there, as well as reams and reams of ubusive behaviour amd slagging people off - and then complain when people look at it and comment on it on other social media! Get off social.media if you feel stalked or harrassed like women who genuinely are have to.

gendercritter · 14/11/2018 09:47

Young Labour in 2018

SirVixofVixHall · 14/11/2018 11:39

Madigan is nearly 21, the age when most people leave uni, so not that young any more.

Weezol · 14/11/2018 13:00

I love the word 'shenanigans' and have been making an effort to use it more often in the last few weeks.

In relation to the incidents under discussion, I sincerely hope Morgan is taking legal advice over the laundry list of criminal and civil offences committed by this mob.

If anyone knows LM's family, pass on my support. It must be horrific watching your kid spiralling out of control like this.

It is particularly grim to see Labour exploiting young people and encouraging them in potentially disastrous behaviour.

When it all goes tits up, it won't be Magic Grandad picking up the pieces. Your 'comrades' will drop you quicker than last year's iPhone.

FekkoThePenguin · 14/11/2018 16:18

Has she been offered her position back? I would tell then what they could do with it if I were her.

samsamsamsamsamsam · 22/11/2018 14:10

Hi all, when this all kicked off I complained to Labour about the situation.

I sent copies of the allegation, the confession and Scottish Labours statement.

I have received a reply. Mealy mouthed does not cover it.

'
Thank you for your email. The decision taken to remove Ms Horn from this position was made by the Scottish Executive Committee. They are within their rights to take such action as and when they see fit.

The comments made by Lily below do not amount to a breach of the Party rules and does therefore not warrant any further action by the Party.

I understand that you may find this response disappointing. However, I can assure you that due care and consideration has been taken when reaching this conclusion.

Best wishes,

I am responding and asking for a copy of party rules so that i can check that this response is right. I am also contacting Scottish Executive Committee.

Please let me know what you all think so that i can add it to my response. im quite angry about this.

sackrifice · 22/11/2018 14:43

So lying doesn't breach Labour party rules?

This is brand new information!

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 22/11/2018 14:44

Surely they need to publish their reasons to sack her?
