It's on Twitter.

Thankfully the police in the location they have described their friend with the details of this assault are looking into it

Debbie Hayton getting flack for speaking the truth in their reply (saw it from following Debbie)

I'm still not sure what kind of Elastigirl contortion has made this about trans??

If - IF - it happened, this is an aggressive, armed misogynist confronting a butch lesbian. Women have been harassed and threatened for not doing womaning right since time immemorial. ('smile', 'I wouldn't do her', 'ugly bitch' etc etc) Suddenly it's not women who are the victims - EVEN WHEN IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS TO THEM - but transwomen? And feminists are to blame?

I need a lie down.

selfidentifyinggiraffe · 24/10/2018 16:33

@Feminist4 being a transwoman they also DO represent a part of the transgender community

Feminist4 ending a tweet with the language our Nelly used is pretty vitriolic to start with, no?

Vixxxy · 24/10/2018 16:41

Even if this did happen, how on earth is male violence the fault of 'terfs'. The last people male predators would listen to are feminists, infact, males often take the piss out of women for fear of male violence.

JillyArmeeen · 24/10/2018 16:47

How would she know about which cameras work and which don't?
Maybe some have been turned off, but there was a horrific violent attack of a woman just round the corner from where this alleged incedent happened and the perpetrator was found on cctv, and was recently sentenced.
Will post links if I can find it.

🤣

Women are responsible for violence against transwoman and he's using a man attacking an actual woman as an example.

🤣🤣

AngryAttackKittens · 24/10/2018 16:49

If men listened to radfems there would be no more male violence. As we can all see that is not the case.

JillyArmeeen · 24/10/2018 16:53

That case happened literally round the corner from this one.
Cctv was available and was a massive part of the perpetrator being caught.
Violently attacked a woman and left her for dead.
Just been sentenced to 11 years. Horrible case.

I can just about believe that the friend who tweeted this misunderstood the details of a real situation. But that gets more confusing if the victim is backing up said friend’s account on Twitter.

If it’s real as told then that would mean the perpetrator was incredibly unusual. Men who aggressively comment on not being able to tell if you’re male or female are, in my experience, doing it to comment on how you’re not adequately womaning (or man-ing I suppose if they do this to men too), not out of a spirit of genuine curiosity. And the kind of men who threaten women walking home alone with knives and ask about their genitals, they aren’t typically going to decide not to assault you further once they’ve seen that you have a vagina.

It would also mean the victim was rather unusual. I’ve been approached by men like this when alone/otherwise vulnerable, as have a lot of women I know, and none of us have reacted by concluding that the gentleman in question will be less likely to hurt us if we pre-emptively show him our vaginas.

So it’s a bit odd that this unusual perpetrator came across this unusual victim. I don’t see how radical feminists are the cause even then, though?

Doobigetta · 24/10/2018 17:17

Also, doesn’t a big butch lesbian who shows her vagina to someone to prove she is a woman sound more likely to be a terf herself?*
And therefore is her friend just doing straightforward victim blaming?

*Please don’t interpret this to mean I attach any credence whatsoever to any of the story. Well, I’m prepared to believe that this loon has a friend who lives in Leicester. But I suspect they’ve never met.

FekkoTheLawyer · 24/10/2018 17:18

How closely did this attacker look? I can't say I've made a study of it but... Was the victim a transsexual?

Datun · 24/10/2018 17:25

Sounds to me like they habitually egg each other on over the entire business. And their particular bugbear is oh my God, do terfs expect TW to show their genitals in order to access spaces?!

And this was a fantasy, designed to push the narrative to rabid tipping point.

And if I'm wrong I'm wrong. I'm sick to death of people saying you can't say that in case you're wrong.

FloralBunting · 24/10/2018 17:27

I think you're right on the money, Datun.

AspieAndProud · 24/10/2018 17:28

I can confirm that the end of the post should read 'And everybody clapped'.

It should end ‘And that young woman was... Marie Curie!’

FloralBunting · 24/10/2018 17:33

Aspie Grin

selfidentifyinggiraffe · 24/10/2018 17:33

Leicestershire police have confirmed they have received no such reports

Of course this doesn't conclusively prove it didn't happen as victim may have not felt they wanted to report if indeed they exist anywhere other than Nelly's fantasies

It does prove Nelly has wasted police time today by refusing to give Leicestershire police information on this crime and choosing Twitter over engaging with a police force keen to support her friend

Having seen the alleged victims twitter account, I cant say she looks very butch to me. She has short haor but so what? And she's a member of the Labour party.

The only people I've seen flashing a knife aroundately was that charming man in a frock on twitter (threatening women of course).

53rdWay · 24/10/2018 17:57

“TW assault” = “trigger warning for assault” I think.

CaptainBrickbeard · 24/10/2018 17:58

Rowan, I think TW in this instance stands for Trigger Warning.

R0wantrees · 24/10/2018 18:05

Oh, thank you.
apologies.

AspieAndProud · 24/10/2018 18:13

And she's a member of the Labour party.

That ought to be a red flag (sorry!) in itself.

FekkoTheLawyer · 24/10/2018 18:14

Maybe they have their eyes on a career in politics?
