I cancelled my Vogue subscription when they presented a man as a woman for the 100 years of suffrage edition.

I am debating cancelling tv license.

I no longer use Asos or Topshop or M&S or Ocado or Tesco.

I no longer watch CH4 or BBC news or buy the Guardian.

OP posts:

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 17/10/2018 12:24

rightreckoner · 17/10/2018 12:30

Guardian. Labour Party. BBC are on a knife edge.

pennydrew · 17/10/2018 12:31

Oh yeah, I’ve voted Lib Dem’s and labour in this country. I didn’t vote at all last time.

Also Co-op bank, was gonna start ISA’s for DD.

ChilliJamandAvocado · 17/10/2018 12:32

Lush
Guardian
Green Party (and all the others)

AnneLovesGilbert · 17/10/2018 12:33

What did asos do?!

Ocado can fuck right off. For their pathetic cowardice, and their overpriced crap food.

Lib Dems. Heartbreaking to see them scrubbing around to be so fucking right on. Bastards.

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 17/10/2018 12:38

Ocado until now. After today the list is getting a lot longer.

ThePrincipal · 17/10/2018 12:42

The Guardian. BBC. Labour Party. The teaching profession.

So sick of the competitive wokeness virtual signalling going on.

LangCleg · 17/10/2018 12:42

Mostly charities - all the big ones.

DH and I have also left the Labour Party and deprived them of two lots of subs.

But also M&S, TopShop and Lush.

ThePrincipal · 17/10/2018 12:43

Lib Dem’s. Green Party. Amnesty international.

Duckyneedsaclean · 17/10/2018 12:46

Could someone tell me what they've all done? Not been following news recently. Ta

liquidrevolution · 17/10/2018 12:48

Children in need
Lush

Voting. Was a floating voter but will never vote green or labour or liberal again. Which limits me somewhat!

What has Tesco done? Mind you I shop at Sainsbury's so makes no difference.

Would live to cancel tv licence but can't. I no longer read BBC news or the guardian news. I no longer donate to wikipedia. Thinking I might subscribe to the times they seem to have been good. Have been reading metro online as well.

IKeepFlouncing · 17/10/2018 12:49

It’s quicker to say everyone and anyone who has taken a back hander and sold women out.

Every company that sells women out today or tomorrow or next week.

My TV licence is up for renewal next month ( I pay it off at in advance). I can live without live tv so bye bye BBC

RiverTam · 17/10/2018 12:49

this thread has the most recent culprits.

Sexnotgender · 17/10/2018 12:52

Oh yes how could I forget about lush!!

Never bought any of their vomitously over perfumed products for myself but bought gifts for teenage daughter and her friends.

ahagwearsapointybonnet · 17/10/2018 12:57

Tesco will be losing mine after that Metro advert if it turns out they knew what it linked to (the Stonewall GRA consultation guidance). If they claim they did NOT know, I'll need to see them make that public before I go back! And I need to look who else was on that ad as well, and ask them the same question.

Amnesty already lost my cash a while back as a result of this and their support for decriminalisation of prostitution.

Lush because I will NOT be "cissed", and they support Mermaids (and by some accounts don't treat their female staff too well sometimes) - I liked their stuff a lot though so hope they can sort out their act eventually!

Lib Dems I want to talk to a bit more and find out where their local people stand on the subject and whether there may be hope of turning things round from the inside. But they are getting beyond ridiculous now so it would need to be a big turn around, and soon!

The Guardian (though their recent v good article that was shared here was a big change from the norm, and Hadley Freeman is also great, so I may be back someday)

There are some others I couldn't really boycott as didn't use them anyway!

KatherinaMinola · 17/10/2018 12:57

My MP.

pennydrew · 17/10/2018 12:59

I forgot Lush too!

transdimensional · 17/10/2018 13:02

What do people do if they want to boycott the police, GCHQ or other arms of the state? Has MI5 weighed in with its views yet?

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 17/10/2018 13:07

Oh, yes. And Lush.

Bowlofbabelfish · 17/10/2018 13:17

Amnesty, children in need. And oxfam although that was the child exploitation scandal. No more donations to big charities - small known ones only

M and s
Never used Ocado but I won’t in future
Lush
The Labour Party
