Rachel McKinnon has tweeted that Rachel has taken the women's 200m indoor cycling world record.

It makes me so angry for the women who have trained so hard to have to compete against male bodied athletes.

According to the Twitter feed it was. It was an age range flying 200m record. Not sure how official the times are. It's heats of some competition

McKinnon's instagram says the record was beaten 10 minutes later so I'm assuming that's true.

But actually it was never actually a world record at all was it? I can just hear the stony silence when a transwoman wins a race in the Olympics. Most sports fans I know have one word for that - cheating

The tweet said women's world record. The Instagram post said world record for 35-39yo women and clarified that it was beaten ten minutes later. I looked up the world record times and I'm pleased to say it's a long way off the real women's record, which was presumably set by a much younger woman (and a real one).

The only people who should be competing in women's sports are women -XX chromosome, plus any intersex people medically considered to be women, who have female-typical testosterone levels.

According to him, Kristina Vogel of Germany holds the 200m sprint track cycling record, at 10.384, and has done since 2013. This person seems to be blowing hot air out of their butt.

As if women's cycling doesn't have enough trouble getting funding already. Sheesh.

I get the impression McKinnon just wants to wind people up. McKinnon knows from experience that McKinnon claiming to win women's sports events or break their sporting records will upset a lot of people.

You know how good the human eye is at recognising a human face? It’s really good at recognising male and female faces too. I’ve watched a few of these trans videos and all I can see is men’s faces. I know that sounds awful but I just can’t see anything other than a man. It’s very confusing.
