Why are people talking about the 'trans community' (whatever that's meant to be) so disparagingly? Trans people (especially young trans people) face huge issues around bullying and violence. This thread is awful :-/

I've just had leftover curry from last night. Jamie Oliver recipe. Love his curry recipes. Very tasty even though I'd run out of tomato puree and had to use ketchup.

I'm having a day of protein and veg on my diet today. So I'll have yet more meat for lunch. Snacks are protein only and I had a packet of pastrami at 11am Confused

Ketchup is a good stand in in an emergency @Charliethefeminist but I wouldn't advocate it over tomato purée per se.

And so do females and indeed young females (you could also include young men but possibly they would not have as much focus on a feminist board where the focus is females)

Also on feminism boards the shaming of you are being mean/awful doesn't have much traction as we've been hearing this for the last 20 years every time we try to focus on female issues.

Anyway this thread is about an upcoming tv interview if you are really interested in why posters here have mainly this view the break it down for me thread is a good place to start.

I didn't get to hear the end of it as I had to go out. It was calm reasoned, and a really good listen. It was the sort of discussion that you just don't get on the BBC. I was enjoying it.

LBC were doing a Me Too phone in this afternoon - I only caught a bit of it but it made me think that the BBC coverage of woman is so stage managed.

Some of us know and and I think we nearly all respect people from the trans community. Some of the trans community post on here (like yourself?).

My Mum sometimes makes curry with a tin of condensed tomato soup. It isn't very nice.

I like a casserole made with a tin of condensed mushroom soup, real mushrooms, chicken breast/thigh/Quorn/whatever, onions, thyme. Very easy, very tasty. My mum does something of the sort. Needs decent potatoes and a green vegetable. Carrots good too.

Not keen on Heinz tomato soup. Too sweet.

I do hope they put Posie up against Jane Fae. I'd pay to see that, especially if Jane does that pronounced sigh to indicate how incredibly clever Jane is vs how incredibly stupid Jane's opponent is. Grin
