Looks like his maleness was has worked for him and he gets to be recognised as a top female too.

Just why?

My lot aren't nearly as far down the track to Woking as CS, fekko. If they were, I wouldn't give them the time of day, never mind the sweat of my brow Grin

Subert from within.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 24/09/2018 08:29

The internal PR dept will do as it's told. The external one will follow their brief. I bet the red file for reputation management and damage limitation is out this morning.

Charliethefeminist · 24/09/2018 08:41

Oh Holy jesus, he was on a girl guides discussion panel with Maria Miller. He was wearing a wig and dress at the time.

Needmoresleep · 24/09/2018 08:49

Sophocles, you are lucky. DH 's organisation apparently drank the cool aid a couple of years back. So rather than a focus on potential organisational issues, like why some groups were not progressing and focussing training appropriately (eg interview and communication training) there has been a shift towards the Stonewall view of diversity. Visible individuals, diversity training with a focus on accepting different sexual orientations, etc. The trouble is that someone like Bunce talking about diversity, wearing a pink dress, runs the risk of causing 80% of the room to switch off. Thus harming drives to reduce barriers to women, ethnic minorities etc. It is far easier to allow one Bunce, than effect organisaitonal change.

It’s probably some 23 year old on £25k in charge of their social media who has panicked and blocked everyone instead of escalating it and deciding how to tackle the backlash

If CS wanted to put a stop to this all they have to do is declare friday’s ‘authentic self day’ and encourage everyone to come in fantasy fancy dress.

Then limit one of Bunce’s personalities to Friday (should be Pippa but letting him pick seems kinder).

He’ll have flounced our having lost his specialness within a month.

BettyDuMonde · 24/09/2018 09:11

I’d go as an astronaught. Or a cat.

yorkshireyummymummy · 24/09/2018 09:19

I cried when I read this in the paper last week. Hot, bitter tears.

I have to stay off Twitter now - I get too incensed by the insane libertys ( I’m trying to keep it mild) that men are taking over women. And I get red mist descending when real live WOMEN agree with these twatty men taking away our hard fought for rights. I worry about my daughter and her future.
I despair that idiots who applaud this man getting this female award cannot see that a real breathing working WOMAN has been bumped from the list to make room for a fucking man!

I think I might have a Monday morning cry again- before I mop the floors. After all, I’m a woman so that’s my job isn’t it...................arrrrgggghhh fucking entitled men.

theredjellybean · 24/09/2018 10:04

Betty... Brilliant idea, but I can imagine all the blokes would come in dresses up.. Either cross dressing or whatever (my friend at Cs says he would be maverick from top gun on Fridays)... The women would come in as... Ummmm... Women. Cus we have a squillion other things to do rather than having time to indulge our fantasies. It would be like world book day all over again.
I can't self id as anything else, I don't bloody have time.
Though as I mostly self id as "bloody exhausted blob" maybe I could come in wrapped in a duvet and just sleep at my desk?

AngryAttackKittens · 24/09/2018 10:17

Because if you want to know what young girls need to survive and thrive then you should definitely ask a middle aged man who cosplays as a woman on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Who is running the Girl Guides? Is there nobody over 30 on the executive panel, or was bringing Bunce along Maria Miller's idea?

I feel like the whole house of cards only needs one or two more solid flicks of the finger to come tumbling down, but people like Miller and whoever promoted this idiocy in HR at CS are going to fight because they're too bloody stubborn to admit that they made a mistake.

Juells · 24/09/2018 11:36

Two men. There was another man on the list as well.

Juells · 24/09/2018 11:40

The other manwoman said he came to work as a man on the days he wanted to bully other people, something like that anyway.

ILuvBirdsEye · 24/09/2018 11:44

Is there anyway we can find out who the 101st and 102nd women were?

Any leaks from FT or somewhere?

AsAProfessionalFekko · 24/09/2018 12:15

On Fridays I wear 'mens' clothes. Doesn't mean I want to use their loo though.

Juells · 24/09/2018 14:11

The big smiles on these feckers' faces - like Laurel Hubbard on the podium celebrating her win over biological women - always make me think of that expression about liars smiling because they've fooled you.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 24/09/2018 14:13

Its because they are in on the joke.

R0wantrees · 24/09/2018 14:13

& 103rd.
Miranda Yardley identified three male recipients on the female top 100 list.

Im wondering what his parents or grandparents think.

That's a nice award on the mantle piece dear, what did you get that one for?
Woman of the year in finance
What? Woman in finance? Who's a woman?
I am gran.
Since when?
Only on Tuesdays and Fridays
What about the rest of the week?
I'm a man.
Do they know in the office?
Of course. They let me be my 'inner authentic barbie' 2 days a week.
Do yuo have to give it back 3 days a week?
No gran. They gave it to me
Weren't there any real women available?
I am a real woman. 2 days a week and every so and often at the weekend.
Run that by me again? I knew we should have insisted you took GCSE biology.

Needmoresleep · 24/09/2018 14:45

So they can be given some sort of runner up award? Perhaps called the "good girlie, pat on the head for knowing your place" award.

ILuvBirdsEye · 24/09/2018 14:50

Nope. Not for a pat on the head. But so the actual list could be released - as it should be. The real top 100 Womens award

Just a thought.. and not thought through either because the AWA will be all over it.

ErrolTheDragon · 24/09/2018 15:11

Miranda Yardley identified three male recipients on the female top 100 list.

Three? Was the 3rd at least an authentic TW unlike Bunce and Take?

JellySlice · 24/09/2018 16:24

Cosplay

Perfect description, AngryAttackKittens. That's exactly what this is.
