It's a private prosecution by an activist who wasn't at the talk but watched it online. CPS declined to take the complaint further but this individual decided to take out a private action.

The Gofundmensays that it is no longer accepting donations? Has something changed?

No, they only initially had a target of 1000 to cover travel and accommodation expenses. Seeing as they doubled that I expect that Linda didn't want to keep accepting more money than she actually needed.
