Anyone who does that has got something wrong with them I would say or are a similar type of criminal themselves
That is entirely possible.
But... Watch Scarlett. While in no way implying, or hinting, that Scarlett has criminal tendencies ... there really is a type in these videos.
It's my tribe. The perennial losers. I can see myself at fifteen in that video. Loud self-love that rings hollow, + practiced (yet deeply unconvincing) arrogance, all to ape the cool kids. Except in my day there was no permanent record of my dweebiness on youtube, and no culty people grooming me harder and harder in that direction.
You put a group of teenage kids and young adults together - who are aching to be lauded, relevant and admired, instead of basically fading into the crowd on a good day - they can go to some mad lengths to out-do each other in the ersatz rebel department. Including breaking the law in plain sight.
I won't fall out of my tree if it turns out to be somebody like (not actually) Scarlett. Who decided to turn bully, curry favour, gain kudos, do the dirty work and set the parameters carefully to be able to slither away from any resultant trouble from identifying the victim.
What stinks on top of the victim being identified, is that these youngsters are being so heavily encouraged (and weaponised) into what could very easily become a behavioural and social acceptance rut, that they get stuck in long term.
Most of us got the chance to grow out of it. Not sure many of Scarlett's ilk will have that opportunity. Which doesn't bode well for them. Or us. Cos we will have to live with them and what they do in society at large.
