I can't find where I read the dates (no dates at all in news reports...). Bloody internet, hiding things from me

Somebody posted they have screenshots, hopefully they'll get pulled together in a nice swishy webpage on the FREE APP SPARK PAGE.

(I don't work for adobe, it is just dead simple to use, even for somebody who has never made a web page before, and you don't need server space/url, they host the uploaded page and provide an url)

I wonder if Aimee will use her break to consider that in some cases transgenderism is about fetishism. That males with such fetishism should not be permitted free access to women’s and girls’ safe spaces.

I wonder if Aimee will consider that their involvement with the terf blocker on Twitter is about silencing the voices of women and girls talking about the preservation of their safe spaces.

Aimee has the support of the Green Party. Who will support the women and girls who can no longer rely on having safe spaces?

"The court heard how, when the victim was at his home, he pretended to be a little girl called Lucy and took her to his attic where he asked her "to do things to him", including performing oral sex.

After leaving, she was initially too frightened to tell anyone what he had done but eventually she confided in someone.

It was then reported to police who interviewed her towards the end of 2015." from www.thesun.co.uk/news/7085352/david-challenor-rapist-tortured-girl-whip-electrocuted-coventry/

Arrested in 2015. Crime was 2011.
Well the one we have confirmed.

Acs statement will be blown out of the water when court defendant list is published and media can report on proceedings including who said what

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 26/08/2018 18:14

Just looked at Twitter and someone has written that they were going to be mad, but they've seen that A.C.'s mum is disabled so now they're not. I really hope that's irony otherwise I weep for humanity.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 26/08/2018 18:15

After that Gary/Marie Dean business I would put nothing past the Guardian. Paedophilia apologism is going mainstream.

CesiraAndEnrico · 26/08/2018 18:17

but they've seen that A.C.'s mum is disabled

Well she can shoot me if she likes, but having read the care proceedings I'm not sure how reliable mum is about correctly assigning "disabled and needing wheelchair" to anybody.

OrchidInTheSun · 26/08/2018 18:18

Oh dear god.

MsMcWoodle · 26/08/2018 18:18

Note 'I did not know about the full details of the crimes my father has been found guilty of until very recently.'
Very deceptive. Didn't know the 'full' details - most of them then.
Also- He's only just been found guilty, so no one else knew 'the crimes he'd been found guilty of' until very recently either - including DC himself.

TerfsUp · 26/08/2018 18:22

Guardian

They only had her in about a couple of months ago

Good bet. AC will be rehabilitated after being undercover for a while and thinking how best to blame the nasty TERFs.

Popchyk · 26/08/2018 18:28

Oh Christ.

From AC's website.

"I'm in a polyamorous relationship with my partners Katrina and Nathaniel. In my spare time I enjoy photography, video gaming, computer coding, and reading."

Astonishing how often these people are in polyamorous relationships, eh? And into gaming and computing.

Bienchen · 26/08/2018 18:31

This statement is all about AC who will now lie low hoping this all blows over. Who were these external advisors? Victims - plural? Not kmowing the full extent, so how much exactly did AC know? Being trans or proclaiming to be trans is the "get out of jail card" for just about any situation. Unbelievable.

Mamaryllis · 26/08/2018 18:32

Yeah well Aimee’s previous identity as an Anonymous hacker and social media blocklist guru kinda suggested the IT link Grin Seems to have been quite handy on the legal gagging front to give the IT crowd time to scrub too.

SPOFS · 26/08/2018 18:41

Aimee's statement is written to evoke sympathy for Aimee. How is the fact hat their mother is disabled relevant here? It isn't. Aimee is just trying to score easy empathy points.

Kyanite · 26/08/2018 18:46

On Twitter it's plural victims too...not just a mistake in the statement.

placemats · 26/08/2018 18:47

I am incredibly sad and angry that my own very personal decision to transition is being linked to my father’s behavior.

Three things about this.

No one has linked Aimee's rapist and paedophile father to their transition. I've not seen any evidence of that.

It does of course have to be about Aimee.

Why is Aimee using the USA spelling?

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 26/08/2018 18:49

Wherever AC goes, the questions about DC will carry on.

AC is a liability to the party, surely?

placemats · 26/08/2018 18:49

I think that the victims bit is relating to Aimee, Mrs Challenor and the actual victim of a rapist and a paedophile who is called David Challenor.
The victim was 10 years old at the time of the horrific attack on her.

Charliethefeminist · 26/08/2018 18:50

Good spot re spelling

Truly, that incredibly sad and angry is the only bit of genuine emotion

It's all about Aimee

VickyEadie · 26/08/2018 18:53

Aimee's use of the American spelling of behaviour has three possible explanations in my opinion:

  1. Aimee is not terribly well read but has spent massive amounts of time on the interweb, seeing American spellings more than British.
  1. Aimee used an American spellchecker.
  1. Someone else wrote it for Aimee and either 1. or 2. apply to this person, or they're American.
ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 26/08/2018 18:53

There is some very careful phrasing in that statement...

I did not know about the full details of the crimes my father has been found guilty of until very recently.

So they knew some details. If they didn't find out at the court case (which they would have said) they knew previously. So what details, and how recently. (And why didn't they let the Green Party know?)

They are very careful not to say that the abuse only occurred when they were out of the house in care.

I did not go into the attic during my adult life - it was considered ‘dad’s space’.

But until the age of 18 they may have.

SPOFS · 26/08/2018 18:55

Which party are the Green's closest rival in Brighton? If they had any sense, they'd be using all this to get an easy win.

Saying that, it is a real shame that a once-decent political party will be finished over a few people. I think that most members of the Green Party are actually nice reasonable people. They don't deserve to be associated with this shit. Sad

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 26/08/2018 18:56

Also, if DC was arrested for this in 2015(?) why did it take 3 years to come to court, and why wasn't he imprisoned in the interim given the severity of the offenses?

CesiraAndEnrico · 26/08/2018 18:57

I think that the victims bit is relating to Aimee, Mrs Challenor and the actual victim of a rapist and a paedophile who is called David Challenor

That excludes a male family member every bit as closely related as Aimee. Who cannot be described as having been under exposed to the realities of that family, and its varied fall out.

So if family counts as survivors, he's in that group too. But totally excluded in the statment by the use of "women".

And there are I believe two other family members who are male, who are also victims of at least some of the ongoing family dynamic.

Either Aimee thinks "only women bleed", and has callously decided to reduce the victim group to a select few that met some fairly exacting criteria. Or we are being softened up for more news. Or a slip up has occurred.

Maybe 1, and certainly 2, I can believe.

3 . Not a fucking chance.

CesiraAndEnrico · 26/08/2018 18:58

But until the age of 18 they may have

Yes. And the abuse occurred well before AC's adult life started.
