The perpetrator is the father and electoral agent of a transgender Green Party deputy leader candidate. The house where the crimes were committed was and still is the official address of the Coventry branch of the Green Party

This has been reported only in the "red top" papers. The Times has only now 4 days later, reported it. There has been silence from The Guardian, The Telegraph and the BBC. The BBC received complaints from several posters on Mumsnet and brushed them off with a boilerplate reply.

The TRAs have taught us that mass contacting works. Pleanty of regulars on this board know it to their cost. So since the downside of their strategy has silenced so many, might as well copy it when the upside could make the TRAs wish they'd been more secretive about their tactics.

Also, screenshot anything you want to show potential media contacts, because it can and will be deleted if TRAs notice that people are looking into it.

The BBC may not be covering the story because of "wokeness", but I can't believe that the is true of all the other news outlets.

It seems that there must be some kind of injunction still in place, although there's been time for the rest of the family to get out of the house.

If so there are really deep implications for freedom of speech. It must be in the public interest to know whether or not a politician, someone who has given evidence to a H of C committee, advised the girl guides, schools and police forces, etc might not be a proper person to carry out these functions.

I want to know if there are injunctions out and if so on what grounds they were granted. I hope other news outlets will be brave and challenge them. Well done to the Sunday Times if they are fighting any such prohibitions.

Like thecatfromjapan I have voted Green, fairly regularly in fact as I care very much about the environment. They were the first party I voted for age 18. To see this absolute MESS now is so depressing. The “support” they are giving AC, why has AC not been removed from the party ? I agree that it seems impossible that AC, living AT THE SAME ADDRESS, in a tiny house, did not know that DC was facing such horrendous charges. That this address was the headquarters of the party in Coventry and that the party still somehow didn’t know seems unbelievable. People are lying to save their skins while a young girl is left to pick up the pieces of her life.

Why can i often not access twitter but can accrsd it non problem in private mode when not logged in. Anyone else experience this - I’m thinking it’s possibly because I’ve been reported.
